🇨🇦 Happy Family Day, Canada! 🇨🇦
Today is a reminder of the connections that truly matter—the bonds we share, the stories we pass down, and the moments we create together. As we celebrate Family Day, I encourage everyone to take a step back from the rush of everyday life and cherish the time spent with loved ones.

For me, family isn’t just about blood ties—it’s about the communities we build, the histories we preserve, and the cultures we share. Museums are one of the most powerful ways to explore that connection, giving us a chance to discover, learn, and grow together.

So today, whether you're visiting a museum, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with those who matter most—may your day be filled with warmth, love, and appreciation.

Happy Family Day!

Tomorrow, February 17, is Heritage Day in Nova Scotia, and this year we honor Mi'kmaw activist and leader, Nora Bernard. Take a moment to learn more about her legacy here: https://bit.ly/3Qc1Z3N.

And while many businesses will be closed, there are still plenty of great places to explore in Downtown Halifax!

Both the Discovery Centre and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic will be open (with the latter offering free admission for the day).

Plus, you can always take a stroll along the Halifax Waterfront or explore the grounds of the Halifax Citadel.
