While we wait for @junior.boys.music new highly anticipated album, enjoy their latest single ‘Waiting Game’ 🕰
The titles and lyrics of Waiting Game orbit around a singular theme: the feeling of waiting around for something, anything, to happen. During his walks through an eerily quiet Hamilton, Jeremy Greenspan (one half of Junior Boys) tuned in more closely to other people’s conversations. When he heard a phrase that seemed interesting, he wrote it down verbatim, and when he came across something beautiful or odd, he wrote down a description of it. This patchwork style of lyric writing feels light and bright, with a sense of freedom.
Greenspan concludes, “Waiting Game is intended to give the listener some respite. I like the idea of people putting it on a home and exhaling in relief, even if that relief is tinged with some sadness.”
Their new album, also titled ‘Waiting Game’, is out October 28 on @cityslangrecords 🎶

Happy release day to @ppatrickholland ! ‘You’re The Boss’ is out today via @nextdoorrecords and @sinderlyn 💿
‘You’re The Boss’ may be the Montreal-based artist, producer, engineer and remixer’s self-produced debut, but it sounds like the work of an indie artist decades into their career.
"It’s all on display – You’re The Boss in full – my first collection of songs. Thrilled to let go of these tunes I’ve toiled over; it all feels real now that they’re shared,” Holland says. “Can’t wait to play them on the road with my band!"
In addition to today’s album release, Patrick Holland also announces his debut U.S. tour with this new project. He’ll be touring in support of Tonstartssbandht and ZOPA, making stops in Brooklyn, Philly, Washington D.C., his hometown of Montreal, and more.
