People sometimes ask — Why Cedar Path?

To me, Cedar represents strength, wisdom, resilience; and the ability to be grounded yet flexible.

Path is a route characterized by its untamed nature, diverging from manicured trails to lead individuals through less traveled terrain.

Expeditions embody the spirit of adventure while traveling and living in a wild landscape, where the essence of exploration thrives.

Our expeditions are a blend of these ideas and my hope is that people walk away from a Cedar Path expedition feeling nourished, satisfied, physically recharged, happy and a little more at peace with life.

What a year! 2024 saw us through the lush Balkan Peaks, the fjord-fueled wilderness of Iceland, and the picturesque mountain villages of northern Greece.

Lots of gratitude for everyone that joined in the adventures and we can’t wait to meet more of you in 2025!

In 2025 - we still space on our three-country Balkan Peaks expedition, and a waitlist for Iceland.

At the Tirana airport starting the journey home. Feeling so grateful for this amazing expedition with this incredible group of women.
This was one of the hardest and most rewarding hikes I’ve ever done. The spring wildflowers were non stop, warm and friendly guesthouses every night, the phenomenal mountains and so many adventures and surprises along the way.

We’ll definitely be back!! Thank you Adnan and TrekBalkan for all the amazing support!
