A day in Magic Kingdom isn't complete without seeing the Dapper Dans perform! They've been delighting guests since opening day in 1971! My dad sang with them once, so they will always have a special place in my heart!
Okay, I admit it! Until recently, I never had a very good meal in San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot! It was so disappointing, because the restaurant has a wonderful view of the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride. Well.......I am pleased to say that we just had a wonderful meal! The margaritas were delicious, as were the enchiladas. We will definitely be back!

The theme parks are chalked full of yummy snacks, but I am partial to the banana & chocolate fudge at Minion land's 'Bake My Day' at Universal Studios!!
If you have the chance to ride Test Track in Epcot before it closes for refurbishment on June 17th, don't forget about the single rider line! My husband and I had booked a lightning lane for the ride, but noticed that the lightning lane queue was still quite long, and had extended outdoors. In all likelihood, the ride was probably closed for a while earlier in the day, making the LL line longer. We didn't have a lot of time, so we used the single rider line............and we were on the ride in less than 5 minutes!!! We even lucked out by being put in the same car. If you aren't able to book an LL or you don't want to wait in line, the single rider line can be amazing!!
During hot summer days, don't underestimate the power of taking an afternoon break at a nearby deluxe hotel. When visiting Magic Kingdom park, we love hopping on a boat and relaxing at the Grand Floridian Resort!

Be sure to check out the Tribute store when you visit Universal Studios park on your next trip. The store theme changes depending on the season. This summer, the store is a tribute to classic movies including JAWS, Back to the Future and Ghostbusters! Take a walk back in time to the age of video stores and VHS tapes! The store is full of so many little details and worth a look around.
The beauty of buying Memory Maker photo package in Disney, is enjoying unlimited photos throughout the parks. We love trying the unique options as pictured below. You will find Disney photographers stationed all over the parks. Don't hesitate to ask them to make some magic during your family's next Disney adventure!
Looking for a special place for date night? Look no further than Toledo on the top floor of Gran Destino tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the views from up there are stunning as well. The food is spectacular. If you time your meal just right, you can catch some fireworks (from a distance) from there. We had a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks! Though far away, the view is still magical.
Have you ever attended an after-hour event in a Disney theme park? Although VERY expensive, we must admit that they're incredible with really low crowds. During the hot summer nights, we prefer spending evenings in the parks rather than days, and after hour events are terrific. During the 3hr event, most rides are walk-ons. Even 'Rise of the Resistance' is a walk-on, and you can enjoy unlimited snacks (popcorn, ice cream, pop and water). Some rare characters often make appearances as well. Canadians, have you seen 'Canada Far & Wide' in Epcot? This visually stunning film is in Circle-Vision 360, and features Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara as narrators. We recommend catching it on your next visit to Epcot!
The beautiful Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World! Some people complain about the size, but we really love strolling the beautiful hotel grounds - especially at night!
Donât miss the âDisney Dreams that Soarâ drone show in Disney Springs!! Itâs mesmerizing watching 800 drones choreographed to music. For the summer, it is held twice a night at 9pm and 10:45pm.
Disney passholders, be sure to check out the temporary passholder lounge in the Morocco pavilion in Epcot. Enjoy air conditioning, free snacks, a character meet and greet and charging stations. With the weather this hot, it is such a welcoming place to relax!!
Today we had the privilege of getting a sneak peek of the upcoming DreamWorks land opening in Universal Studios in June! Thereâs a terrific musical stage show with Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls and Madagascar! There are also super fun splash zones, playgrounds, character meet & greets, Trolls themed coaster and interactive show with Kung Fu Panda. So much fun for kids (and kids at heart)!!
The single rider line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglerâs Run is fantastic! Even when the standby line is long, the single rider line is usually really short!!
Okay, hear me out. When you think of buffets, you may not think about good quality food! However, we were thrilled with 1900 Park Fare which recently reopened at the Grand Floridian Resort! Breakfast was delicious, and the character interaction was terrific. Mirabel was amazing. The strawberry soup is as good as ever!!
After a long day in the parks, is there anything better than a nighttime swim at your resort? đ
The Garden Rocks concert series at Epcot are winding down as the Flower & Garden festival draws to a close. The last few concerts were really fun including 'The Spinners' and 'Sister Hazel'! If you visit Epcot between now and Monday, be sure to check out the remaining Garden Rocks concerts (free with admission)!
We have a few clients in Epcot today. If you see this post, swing by the Honey Bee-stro food booth so you can become honorary bees. Cute keepsake!
Iâve been fortunate enough to have been walking down Main Street since I was 2yrs oldâŠâŠ..but something still manages to get into my eye to make my eyes waterâŠ.
Good thing calories still donât count in Disney! đ Its been a minute since we had a full meal at Beaches & Cream restaurant over at the Beach Club Resort. The grilled cheese, tomato soup and chilli are excellent, but letâs be honestâŠâŠitâs all about the dessert!! The sâmores shake is a dream for those 21 and older. Itâs described as follows: chocolate and vanilla ice cream, Amarula cream, crĂšme de cacao, marshmallow, chocolate sauce and graham crackers. Simply delicious!
Only 10 more days to enjoy this year's Flower & Garden festival in Epcot. The park never looks so beautiful!
If you're ever lucky enough to stay at a deluxe Disney hotel, be sure to take advantage of 'extended evening hours' at Magic Kingdom. On select nights, deluxe hotel guests can stay in the park for an additional 2hrs after regular park close. We have been absolutely amazed at the low wait times for rides. Many rides are walk-ons. Even busier rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan's Flight have short waits by the end of the evening. We practically had Big Thunder Mountain all to ourselves!
We enjoyed another great dinner at 'Bob Marley - A Tribute to Freedom' in CityWalk at Universal Orlando! The Jerk chicken is a real highlight. Enjoy a delicious dinner while watching a fantastic live reggae band! CityWalk offers such a great diversity in restaurants.
Our favorite time of year is just around the corner - Halloween!! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party in Magic Kingdom starts on August 9th for select dates through October 31st. Tickets go on sale for hotel guests on May 9th, and to offsite guests on May 15th. Are you planning to attend? You're in for a frightfully good time!!

It finally happened!! Our 'doom buggy' on the Haunted Mansion ride in Magic Kingdom paused temporarily in the ballroom scene of the Haunted Mansion ride! It's quite common for slight pauses, but we've never paused in this room before. The detail is incredible!!
