Air Canada labour negotiations and your customer’s travel

Air Canada is in negotiations with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). Currently, operations are not affected, and flights are operating as scheduled.
At Air Canada Vacations, we understand that certainty about travel plans is important. For this reason, we have introduced a Goodwill Policy to offer our shared customers the reassurance and flexibility to change their booking. Starting today, customers who have purchased a travel package that includes an Air Canada flight prior to August 27, 2024, for travel dates between September 15 to 23, 2024 can modify their booking without incurring change fees. Refunds will not be permitted.
Customers will have the option to:
Change their travel date and benefit from a one-time $50 instant credit per passenger. Price is subject to change.
Opt for a Future Travel Credit for the full amount, valid for 1 year (instant credit not applicable).
Customers at destination during the period of September 15 to 23, 2024 may also request a return travel date change. Additional fees apply and will also be incurred for extended hotel stays.
