It marks the day in 1989 when children ‘s human rights were recognized with the Convention of the rights of the child , and our commitment to upholding them . The theme this year is . It started as a new game called “Poison Basketball” and quickly evolved into making trophies and a championship tournament! We love seeing the creativity of our kids and how they expand their play into new heights! 🏀 Congrats to Teo and Victor for winning!

We wanted to give a special shoutout to our wonderful volunteers: Tyler, Sienna and Evan ❤️ We could not do our camps without them, and we appreciate all that they do every day for us and the children. They continue to show up with bright smiles, endless enthusiasm and a willingness to encourage the children in any activity! ❤️ Thank you to Sienna for being with us for two years now in all of our camps. She started as a student at PJ and now she’s become a shining light on our team. You can catch her playing volleyball with the kids or helping them with art projects! ❤️ Tyler joined us last year as a volunteer and we are so grateful for his positive attitude and willingness to play! He can play a mean game of UNO ❤️ Evan joined us last year for our ASC program and our camps. He’s a fan favourite on the playground for his pushes on the swings! ❤️ It takes a special person to be willing to volunteer their time (especially during the summertime) so please take a moment to thank our fantastic volunteers! 💕
