Liebe Telemark-Freunde

Am 13. Dezember 2024 wird mit der steilsten Seilbahn der Welt der erste Teil der neuen Schilthornbahn eröffnet. Auf der Station Birg und dem Schilthorn wird jedoch weiter gebaut. Darum kann das Telemark Only Festival erst im Mai 2026 wieder stattfinden.

Dafür wird am 25. Januar 2025 ein Telemark Only Nachtskifahren am Sessellift Stöckalp - Cheselen als Teil des Telemark Weltcup und den Telemark Schweizermeisterschaften in Melchsee-Frutt stattfinden. Weitere Informationen unter www.telemark-laif.ch.

Dear Telemark friends

On December 13, 2024, the first section of the new Schilthorn cable car will open with the steepest cable car in the world. However, construction will continue on the Birg station and the Schilthorn. As a result, the next Telemark Only Festival will take place in May 2026.

Instead, a Telemark Only night skiing event will take place on January 25, 2025 on the Stöckalp - Cheselen chairlift as part of the Telemark World Cup and the Telemark Swiss Championships in Melchsee-Frutt. Further information can be found at www.telemark-laif.ch.

Dear Telemark friends

As already announced, there will be no Telemark Only Festival in 2024. At the Schilthorn we are too limited by the impressive construction site (schilthornbahn20xx.ch) and another ski area could not be found without competing with an existing Telemark Festival.

We recommend you to participate in one of the other Telemark Festivals in spring 2024:
