August 2019 Day 6:short day of hiking on our last day-9km. We visited the village of Zweisimmen, and at one point we stopped to admire beautiful blooming cactuses and the homeowner came out to speak to us about her treasured flowers. She was so lovely and even invited us inside to see something else special. It turns out that her husband is one of a few traditional "Scherenscheider" in Switzerland. We had such a special visit with them both and Ueli even snipped out a quick silhouette of each of us before we left. It's amazing what experiences one can have in life when you simply take the time.
