Savais-tu que depuis la charmante ville médiévale de Morat 🏰, on pouvait rejoindre le lac de Neuchâtel via le Canal de la Broye? Cette croisière 🚢 nous a permis de découvrir Morat, la région du Mont Vully et son vignoble, puis la réserve naturelle de la Sauge le long du canal. Une véritable invitation à la contemplation de paysages authentiques depuis le pont supérieur du bateau Idée Suisse 👀! Après 2 heures de navigation sur les eaux cristallines, on arrive à Neuchâtel à l’heure de l’apéro. Le Bar du Lac tombe à pic puisqu’il est situé au port et que la bonne humeur nous invite à s’y installer. Ici, on y vient pour boire des cocktails, manger une portion de frites 🍟 ou savourer un bon repas. Au menu? Hamburger 🍔 viande de veau des Trois-Lacs pour monsieur et ribs de porc effilochés à merveille sauce barbecue pour madame. On a apprécié ce repas aux produits frais, un service au top dans une ambiance festive avec Dj live 🎶. A 21h30, le groupe de rock 🎸 neuchâtelois Rebel Duck arrive sur scène et transmet à la foule toute son énergie positive. Encore merci et pour l’organisation de cette journée de dépaysement total et à bientôt!

Did you know that from the charming medieval town of Murten, you can reach the Lake Neuchâtel via the Broye canal? This cruise allowed us to discover Murten, the Mont Vully region and the Sauge nature reserve along the canal. After 2 hours of sailing on the crystal clear waters, we arrive in Neuchâtel at aperitif time. The Bar du Lac is located at the harbour and the good mood invites us to sit down. What's on the menu? A Three Lakes veal burger for Mr and pork ribs with a wonderful barbecue sauce for Mrs. We enjoyed this meal with fresh products, a top service in a festive atmosphere with a live DJ. At 9:30 pm, the local rock band Rebel Duck came on stage and gave the crowd all its positive energy.

Vendredi, la LNM nous a invité à passer une journée à bord de ses bateaux 🚢 pour découvrir la Région des Trois-Lacs 💦 . A 12h10, le bateau Fribourg nous emmène sur les eaux turquoises et laisse derrière nous les bâtiments jaune ocre de Neuchâtel 🌆 . A bord, on nous installe chaleureusement dans la salle à manger du pont inférieur. Au menu, la carte propose une belle sélection de spécialités locales comme le saucisson neuchâtelois. Les perches 🐟 sauce meunière accompagnées de frites croustillantes et d’une brunoise de légumes sont délicieusement préparées. On apprécie aussi les desserts maison joliment dressés aux saveurs locales 🍨 . Le tiramisu au café de leur torréfacteur de Boudry ou le soufflé glacé à l’absinthe et son sablé. Le chef met en valeur les meilleurs produits d’ici. On se régale 😋 en admirant les paysages aquatiques et naturels sur la rive sud où le bateau s’arrête à Cudrefin et à Portalban dans le district de la Broye. Une croisière qui relie trois cantons: Neuchâtel, Vaud et Fribourg en seulement 1h20 à bord en savourant une délicieuse cuisine. Merci à et à pour cette superbe croisière gourmande. ✨

On Friday, the LNM invited us to spend a day on board its boats to discover the Three-Lakes Region. At 12.10 pm, the boat Fribourg takes us out onto the turquoise waters and leaves the yellow ochre buildings of Neuchâtel behind. On board, we are warmly welcomed in the dining room on the lower deck. The menu offers a fine selection of local specialities such as the Neuchâtel sausage. The perch with meunière sauce, crispy chips and a vegetable brunoise are deliciously prepared. The boat stops at Cudrefin and Portalban in the Broye district. A cruise that links three cantons: Neuchâtel, Vaud and Fribourg in just 1h20 on board while enjoying delicious cuisine.

Following our cruise on Friday afternoon 🚢 , we would like to share with you our top 3 as soon as the Simplon arrived at the quay with its impressive steam engine and imposing silhouette:

🌟Discover the lake heritage: sailing on a CGN steamboat is not like sailing on any other boat. This fleet is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world, with many surprises to discover: the paddle wheels in motion, the machinery in action, the Belle Epoque lounge with its historical furnishings, the big wooden staircase, the upper deck with its deckchairs.

Yesterday, we had the chance to enjoy a gourmet cruise 🚢 on one of the most beautiful Belle Epoque fleet in the world 🌟 . Departing from Lausanne at 12:40, this cruise on board the Simplon lasts 2 hours and goes along the vineyards of Lavaux 🍇 and its charming villages . You can admire Lausanne, Pully, Lutry, Cully, Rivaz-St-Saphorin, Vevey and the surrounding mountains from a different angle 👓. From the lake, the panorama is breathtaking and gives a real holiday feeling. This gourmet cruise offers a menu 🍽 with or without fish, meat and vegetarian alternatives. The meal can be enjoyed either on the first floor, where the view is superb, or in the Salon Belle Epoque, which takes you back to the last century with its old furniture. Two completely different atmospheres, but both worthwhile. On this boat, we meet families and children with stars in their eyes 💫 , regulars who are passionate about this moving heritage, gourmets who sit down, groups who come to enjoy a few glasses of wine facing Lavaux and tourists or even locals who relax on the deckchairs. This cruise reminded us that we don't need to go far to feel disconnected in an atmosphere that combines relaxation and gourmet pleasure 😎 .
