Ce n’est pas vraiment un “matériau synthétique”, car il est fabriqué notamment à partir de bois recyclé et ressemble à si méprendre à de l’ébène. Nous avons le soutien d’ateliers renommés qui n’hésitent pas à utiliser nos touches sur des instruments de musiciens professionnels.

We focus all our energy on the design and production of our violin, viola, cello and double bass fingerboards as well as on our tailpieces and chinrests prototypes.

MAKE SURE YOU USE THE RIGHT GLUE!
Bone glue (known as strong glue) has been used by the famous furniture manufacturer "André-Charles Boulle" in Paris since the 17th century. Indeed, wooden inlay was often glued on bronze plates and the only glue that was strong enough to hold wood on a non-porous surface was bone glue.
As the CORENE fingerboards are a little less porous than the ebony ones, bone glue is essential.
If one day you have to take off a Corène fingerboard, you will see that the operation will be simple and that you will only have a thin black film left on the neck, easy to remove with a little water.
