Explore the Valle della Motta, a 34-hectare forest reserve between Novazzano, Coldrerio and Mendrisio. The 3.3 km trail passes through woods rich in tree species, including the rare European hop-hornbeam. In spring the valley is covered with wild garlic!

The route winds along the Roncaglia stream, populated by a varied fauna: the river shrimp (12 centimetres long, plus claws) and the very rare Lataste's frog stand out. The route is easy and suitable for everyone, with a difference in altitude of 52 m and a duration of about 1 hour.

Take advantage of the walk to visit the Daniello mill and have a picnic in one of the equipped areas!
