Gear maintenance is something I take very seriously. When you take classes with us, you will be using gear that is regularly checked and maintained😎

Riding and teaching doesn't begin and end on the beach.

After your sessions, remember to do gear maintenance.

Rinse your lines, harness and wetsuit with fresh water and let them dry. If you packed away your kite wet and/or sandy, take it out as soon as you can and to dry and clean. Always check for any damage in the kite. A small stress point or tear is easy to fix, but those can turn into big rips if left unchecked.

This year we have changed our location!!! While we will still occasionally teach in Matanzas/La Boca, many of the classes are now more conveniently located in Playa Ritoque (Near Vina del Mar)! It´s easy for a day trip or a weekend (and there is plenty to do before and after kiting!). We promised news from the Slingshot camp yesterday and here is the first official product release video for the new 2015 Slingshot Rally, a hugely popular kite with good reason, as an all rounder things don't get much better than this. Liking the look of the new graphics too!

Hey everyone! We are stoked to announce that we will be working with Slingshot (www.slingshotsports.com ) this year. The school will be using the 2015 Rally, which is an amazing kite for any discipline (whether you want to ride waves, catch big air or ride freestyle). All have been really gently used as I had 2013 set for personal use (and most of the time I used school kites) and 2014 for my own school (but pretty much all my students just bought their own kites...pretty awesome). So, everything is in great shape (never crashed on the beach, never put away wet or sandy and inspected after uses). Shoot me a message if you want more pics (the one here is a 2013 kite!).

Hey everyone! Lots of talk is going around about wind tomorrow in La Boca! I know it has been some time since we've had wind (again, it's winter now and that should be expected), but take care and make good decisions about going out. The forecast is called for 31-39 knots by 8 am and the precipitation forecast is high for the whole day. Storm wind isn't safe and north wind in that spot "changes the game". If you do go out, evaluate the conditions and the spot and make smart decisions!!!
