Christopher Galega Tuttcy information on another son, born in Basel.

Paul Gottfried Christaller (born August 21 , 1860 in Basel ; died December 31, 1950 in Stuttgart ) was a professor at the Stuttgart School of Applied Arts .

Destined for the evangelical missionary service as the son of Johann Gottlieb Christaller , Christaller learned African languages. He then studied art in Germany and Italy. Some of his artworks are in Stuttgart, Winnenden and Cameroon . He was also a medalist.

On January 27, 1905, together with Hellriegel, Junginger and Obermann, he founded the first Esperanto group in Stuttgart, which was also the first in Württemberg and had 22 members at the end of 1905. Christaller was its president until May 1933. He was the author of a German- Esperanto dictionary.

The sculptress Frida Christaller (1898–1991) was his daughter.
