Le bureau des etudiants burkinabè de Pekin a organisé une sortie detente à Pekin dans le parc de Chaoyang. C'est fut une occasion pour les nouveaux de rencontrer et de nouer des relations avec les anciens etudiants. Loin de la famille, il est tres important de se réunir de temps en temps pour s'exchanger et partager de plats Burkinabè. En plus des etudiants Burkinabè, il y avait des etudiants du Gabon, Mali, Centre-Afrique, Benin, et de Congo Brazzaville. La soirée fut belle, et les participants ont beaucoup apprecié.

Hello friends, today we have another video. I went to Tianjin to explore the city for two days, and I really enjoyed it. Tianjin is a municipality as Beijing, and is located 120 km far from Beijing. From Beijing to Tianjin, it will you only 30 minutes by the High Speed Train and it cost 55 to 70 rmb. I have visited many places during my stay in Tianjin, specially the old infrastructure built by the europeans and Japanese in 19th century when they invaded the city. That is the reason why the great majority of old Chinese hate them, specially Japanese.

Tianjin City, often referred to as the "Gateway to North China," is a vibrant metropolis located in northeastern China. It boasts a rich history, a diverse landscape, and a unique blend of Chinese culture and European influences. Here's a detailed description of Tianjin:

**Landscape:**
Tianjin's landscape is a captivating blend of modern skyscrapers and historical architecture. The city is situated along the Haihe River, which flows through the urban area, dividing it into eastern and western sections. On the eastern side, you'll find the bustling commercial and financial districts with a skyline dominated by towering skyscrapers, reflecting the city's economic prosperity. In contrast, the western side features a more traditional urban landscape with historical buildings, charming streets, and vibrant markets.

**European Invasion and Influence:**
Tianjin's history is marked by European involvement during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Following the O***m Wars and the Treaty of Tianjin in 1856, several European powers, including Britain, France, and Germany, established concessions in the city. These foreign-controlled areas brought significant European architectural and cultural influences to Tianjin. Today, you can still see remnants of this colonial history in the form of historic buildings, churches, and streetscapes.

**European Infrastructure:**
During the European presence in Tianjin, they constructed a variety of infrastructure projects that left a lasting impact. This includes the iconic Tianjin Eye, a Ferris wheel on the Haihe River, and the historic Five Great Avenues, which feature European-style architecture. Additionally, European contributions extended to the development of railways, bridges, and public buildings, enhancing the city's overall infrastructure.

**Ranking in Different Areas:**
Tianjin is one of China's major cities, and it holds significant rankings in various aspects:

1. **Economy**: Tianjin is a major economic hub, ranking among China's top cities in terms of GDP. Its role as a key port city contributes to its economic significance.

2. **Education**: Tianjin boasts prestigious universities and research institutions, including Nankai University and Tianjin University, contributing to its prominence in education.

3. **Transportation**: The city's well-developed transportation infrastructure, including a major international airport and an extensive high-speed rail network, makes it a crucial transportation hub in northern China.

4. **Culture**: Tianjin is renowned for its traditional Chinese opera, particularly Peking opera, and it has a thriving cultural scene, with numerous theaters and museums.

**Position and Area:**
Tianjin is situated in the northeastern part of China, approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) southeast of Beijing. It covers an area of about 11,760 square kilometers (4,540 square miles), making it one of China's largest cities by land area.

**Most Visited Places:**
Tianjin offers a wide range of attractions for visitors, including:

1. **The Five Great Avenues**: Known as the "French Concession," this area features over 200 well-preserved European-style buildings.

2. **Tianjin Eye**: A giant Ferris wheel on the Haihe River, providing panoramic views of the city.

3. **Porcelain House**: A unique museum and art gallery housed in a European-style villa adorned with porcelain tiles.

The Europeans ( Italians, French, Germans, British, Russians…) invaded Tianjin ( a city of China ) in 19th century. They have built different style of houses and other infrastructures.
They were forced to leave the city by Chinese people. It not like Africa countries who begged independency from France.
They didn't get the time to destroy the infrastructures when they were leaving ( in Guinea France destroyed everything before leaving ). Nowadays these infrastructures attract many tourists, it contribute to local economy.
I will publish more pictures and videos during my stay in that city.

Penser que la France à l'epoque coloniale est differente de celle actuelle, c'est vraiment se tromper d'analyse. Un colon reste un colon. Il ne faut etre naïf pour se faire berner par cette histoire de democratie.
