Based in Shanghai, Studio MVW is one of the most acclaimed design studios in China with over twenty years of experience in interior design and furniture design. Founders Xu Ming and Virginie Moriette have defined a unique signature style based on a cross-cultural philosophy with innovative sculptural, architectural shapes, exceptional materials and excellence in craftsmanship. Known for their abil
ity to subtly connect contemporary Western and Eastern aesthetics, they have won major international awards in Asia and Europe, including the AD 100 China Design Talents Award in 2017, 2015 and 2013; Wallpaper* Design Award in 2014; ELLE Decoration International Design Award in 2013. Studio MVW creations are displayed both in China and internationally. The studio collaborates with major design producers and brands and works for prominent private clients and companies within the world of luxury, hospitality and lifestyle. Limited-edition collections are showcased by Paris-based Galerie BSL in major world fairs such as PAD London/Paris, Nomad Monaco and The Salon Art + Design in New York.
