Have you met Damon? 🍃 ✨

Damon is our co-founder and the driving force behind this project. He and his German wife Sonja have been growing cannáb1s and hand-crafting edibles on a farm in Maine over the past 10 years.

Damon first came to Colombia 🇨🇴 about 14 years ago, but it wasn’t until a trip in 2021 with his family, that he helplessly fell in love with the country, its people, culture, and developing cannáb1s industry. 💚 🌿

During Damon’s and Sonja’s first travels to Colombia, they realized how hard it was for a foreigner visiting the country for the first time to find good flower. 🤯 It took them about 3 months in the country to find good quality material, and by the time they had all their ducks in a row, it was time to go back home. So they decided to help people discover the beauty of Colombia through the lens of cannáb1s by sharing their knowledge and hard-earned contacts with their friends and family, providing the sweetest spots to learn about the growing cannáb1s industry in Colombia, in a safe and luxurious way. 🌿 💆

Damon still joins the tours in Colombia, usually taking flights 🛬 from Maine to be a part of the experience and share his 10-year knowledge in the industry. Always alongside is our master grower Santiago, with his vast knowledge in the field and the coffee axis region. Imagine taking a hot shower with vast amounts of water! That’s what a hot waterfall feels like! At Santa Rosa de Cabal Hot Springs you will get a chance to jump from hot tub to hot tub until you have found the perfect one with just the right temperature for you to soak and chill. Sigh! After all the hard work we’ll have lunch at the hotel with a hot rock massage for dessert.

These hot springs are heated by tectonic forces that built and are building the Andes as we speak. Cumanday, as the native Americans called it, is a volcano, but not a threat to us because is sleeping (please do not disturb him). Cumanday is the one heating up these hot springs which we will get to explore hiking up to see where they form.

We had an amazing time at the hot springs on our latest visit! 💚 🌿
