Colombia is a treasure trove of exotic fruits that will tantalize your taste buds. Here are 7 fruits you must try when visiting this beautiful country:

1️⃣ Mangosteen:
This fruit has a delightful sweet and sour taste, reminiscent of citrus. Enjoy it fresh, chilled with ice cream or whipped cream, or add it to sorbets and salads. To eat it, simply cut the skin in half with a knife and open the mangosteen into two parts. The edible white part should be found in a single segment.

2️⃣ Granadilla:
With its tough, wrinkled yellow or orange skin, the granadilla encases a soft and white pulp filled with numerous small black seeds at its core. Its sweet flavor and pleasant aroma make it a popular choice. You can consume it raw by breaking the shell with your fingers or cutting the fruit in half and scooping out the pulp with a spoon. It can also be used to make refreshing drinks by straining the pulp and adding water. Granadilla extract is versatile and can be used in ice creams, soufflés, sauces, yogurt, and more.
