There might be yellow fields of frailejones in bloom, a colorful lizard soaking up the sun on a rock or the chattering sounds of an endemic wren moving through distant reeds. We had great luck spotting wildlife this week in Chingaza National Park with sitings and photos of both the Spectacled Bear and the Black-chested Buzzard Eagle, or “Páramo Eagle” as it’s more locally known.
