My passion for cooking and baking started from an early age. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, from West Indian parents. As with many Hispanic and Asian cultures, our lives developed around the kitchen. Sitting on the kitchen counter from the time I was a toddler, I still remember my mother and my grandmother creating magic in the kitchen. Because I could actually feel

love and good intentions being poured into every dish with every song that they sang and blessing they gave. After the birth of our third child, I made the decision to leave my teaching career behind, and build my dream job from home. Since then, I’ve been the lead baker for King Street Coffee in Historic Downtown Leesburg for 7 years. Most recently, I attended castings for the FOX Network’s Master Chef with Gordon Ramsey, where I was chosen as a back up contestant twice. My dishes and desserts have been judged by famed chefs in the tryouts and gained me several filmed camera interviews in case I was needed to replace one of the contestants. My cherished customers affectionately know me as “Tres Leches Queen.” Once you taste my Tres Leches, you will understand why! Narima’s Homemade specializes in two main areas:

Classic/rustic cakes, specialty cheesecakes, and every other baked creation
Puerto Rican and West Indian savory dishes. What makes me stand out from the rest? Not just high quality ingredients, but what I gained from my ancestors: love, passion and good intentions in every dish. My desire is for you to experience food, not just eat it. I’m working towards fulfilling a lifelong dream of having my own space where I can share my baking and cooking passion with others by offering classes and parties. My life’s purpose is to keep spreading the love I received from my beautiful multicultural family. I hope you come along with me. One love,

Another cake series, I am calling "The cakes of Arianna".

I have been so fortunate to be part of beautiful Arianna's birthday celebrations since her Quinceañera last year (2023) and now
this year, she's celebrating her sweet sixteen.

A girl after my own heart, she 🩵LOVES 🩵 the vintage look on cakes. So elegant and sophisticated.

Coolest story on how I met her lovely mom:

In 2022, after I returned from CA, one of the first concerts I attended in VA was The Back Street Boys, with one of my close friends. It was her birthday present from me, and we were ready to have the BEST TIME EVER!

Well....on the day of the BSB concert, a HUGE storm blew in. We waited in line for a good 2 hours before they decided to call the concert off (since it's an outdoor venue) and reschedule for later that year.

Of course, because we are girls, we are posting on social that our birthday concert got called off cause of this nasty storm. One of my other friends I hadn't seen since I moved away to CA, was also there, but I only found out when she also posted on social.

So, when they finally decided to reschedule the concert, we all made a plan to meet up before the concert starts and have dinner and drinks at a nearby restaurant.

As fate had it, that was the night I met Arianna's beautiful mom. She was a friend of my friend who came to meet up with us.
We connected from that concert on, and since then we have been friends and her preferred baker.

One crappy night ended up in a beautiful friendship and collaboration across the years.

Never underestimate a bad moment. You'll be surprised at the beautiful destination it can lead you to🩷

Arianna's sweet sixteen vintage heart cake is a carrot cake filled with cream cheese and more carrot cake. Covered in buttercream and stuffed with the BEST intentions, SO much love and good wishes for one of the most amazing years of her life🩵

"I'm not specialized in character cakes", I told my client, when he requested a Bluey cake. "I don't want to charge you for something you won't be happy with".

He had sampled my cupcakes and called me up to ask me for a cake for his little girl, who loves the character Bluey. I was totally honest with him. But he insisted that he wanted me to make it, because he ✨loved✨ the flavors he had sampled.

I told him the best I could do was use the colors and place some of the characters on the cake for him.

I will NEVER tell you I can do something I cannot do. My purpose is always for you to be HAPPY and satisfied with your experience with me.

I think it turned out pretty damn cute!!

My new client is 500% satisfied with his experience and that is more than enough for me. I believe he will be returning!
