es una oportunidad para los viajeros vivir la cultura y el paisaje de la alta cordillera del eje cafetero. te invita a visitar una finca cafetera y experimentar la realidad del café colombiano con los expertos en café, los propios caficultores. Te ofrecemos una mezcla personalizada de cultura, paisaje y aventura en los pueblos de Pijao y Buenavista. Nos encontramos en el parque principal de Buenav

ista, un pueblo cafetero en las montañas de la cordillera con vistas maravillosas de toda la región. Nos encontramos con nuestro anfitrión, un campesino de toda la vida, quien nos guiará por su finca y nos explicará el proceso de cosechar y producir café especial de manera sostenible y ecológica. Nos mostrará con su gran humor todo los misterios que esconde la vida campesina. Después de visitar los cafetales, almorzamos con los trabajadores de la finca. Catamos el café de la finca. Nos recogerá un Willys Jeep de los 1950s y volvemos a Buenavista

Empezamos en Pijao, un pueblo pintoresco al lado de un río. Conocemos por qué este es el único pueblo de Latinoamérica nombrado entre la red internacional de Cittaslow, ciudades sin prisa. Tomamos un café y arrancamos para Buenavista en auto. El camino a Buenavista brinda con vistas espectaculares de la zona cafetera y el paisaje de la cordillera. ¡Atrévete! El tour de Pijao a Buenavista se puede realizar en bicicleta. Te acompañamos en una bici de montañismo. El paseo toma una hora en una ruta de bajo-medio nivel. (Edición Pijao + alquiler de la bici). Transporte
Los tours no incluyen transporte a Pijao o Buenavista. Entonces, ¿cómo llegar?
• Los buses de Armenia-Buenavista salen del Terminal cada hora (7:50, 8:35, 10:35, 11:40, 12:35, 13:50, 14:35) y tardan una hora en llegar.
• Los buses de Armenia-Pijao salen del Terminal cada 25 minutos y tardan una hora en llegar.
• Ofrecemos transporte en carro privado hacia y desde Armenia. Wakecup is an opportunity for travelers to live and experience the culture and landscape of the high mountain coffee region. Wakecup invites you to visit a coffee farm and learn about the reality of Colombian coffee from the greatest experts: the farmers themselves. We offer a personalized blend of culture, scenery, and adventure in our unique experiences in Pijao and Buenavista. As a visitor to this region, we believe that your experience should be unique. As such, we offer a menu of options and ideas for visiting the coffee farm: rent a bicycle, ride a Willys Jeep, take a hike, take public transportation or get picked up in a car. Our experiences are offered in both Spanish and English. Classic Edition:
We meet in the central plaza of Buenavista, a small town perched in the mountains of the Cordillera with stunning views of the entire region. Buenavista is located 50 minutes from Armenia, the capital of the Department of Quindío. Transportation to Buenavista is not included. Buses leave from Armenia to Buenavista every hour (see schedule posted). We make our way to a traditional coffee farm to meet our host, a lifelong farmer and coffee apasionato, who will guide us through his finca and explain the process of picking and producing premium coffee. Next, we will eat lunch alongside the farmworkers and taste coffee from the farm. A Willys Jeep from the 1950s will pick us up at the farm and take us back to Buenavista. Duration: 3-4 hours
Includes: lunch, tour. Pijao Edition:
Come and discover Pijao, the only town in Latin America included in the international network of Cittaslow, slow cities. We will meet in the central plaza of Pijao and explore this colorful, quiet town nestled beside a river. After, we make our way to Buenavista in car. The road passes through coffee fields with amazing views of the region. Once in Buenavista, we will visit the farm (see Classic Edition explanation). Duration: 5-6 hours
includes: Tour in Pijao, visit to coffee farm,lunch, refreshment, ride in Jeep Willys. Ride a bike from Pijao to Buenavista! We will accompany you on a mountain bicycle from Pijao to Buenavista. The trip takes an hour, on a road of low-medium difficulty. Transportation:
Transportation to/from Pijao or Buenavista is not included in the tour. Buses leave from Armenia-Buenavista every hour (7:50, 8:35, 10:35, 11:40, 12:35, 13:50, 14:35) from the Armenia Terminal and taken 1 hour. Buses leave from Armenia-Pijao every 25 minutes and taken 1 hour. We also offer transportation in a private car to and from Armenia, roundtrip. What to bring: a camera, good walking shoes
