Empezamos en Pijao, un pueblo pintoresco al lado de un río. Conocemos por qué este es el único pueblo de Latinoamérica nombrado entre la red internacional de Cittaslow, ciudades sin prisa. Tomamos un café y arrancamos para Buenavista en auto. El camino a Buenavista brinda con vistas espectaculares de la zona cafetera y el paisaje de la cordillera. We meet in the central plaza of Buenavista, a small town perched in the mountains of the Cordillera with stunning views of the entire region. Buenavista is located 50 minutes from Armenia, the capital of the Department of Quindío. Transportation to Buenavista is not included. Buses leave from Armenia to Buenavista every hour (see schedule posted). We make our way to a traditional coffee farm to meet our host, a lifelong farmer and coffee apasionato, who will guide us through his finca and explain the process of picking and producing premium coffee. Next, we will eat lunch alongside the farmworkers and taste coffee from the farm. A Willys Jeep from the 1950s will pick us up at the farm and take us back to Buenavista. Duration: 3-4 hours

Come and discover Pijao, the only town in Latin America included in the international network of Cittaslow, slow cities. We will meet in the central plaza of Pijao and explore this colorful, quiet town nestled beside a river. After, we make our way to Buenavista in car. The road passes through coffee fields with amazing views of the region. Once in Buenavista, we will visit the farm (see Classic Edition explanation). Duration: 5-6 hours
