woke up to the very best news today!! the one and only featured guided tours in their 36 hours in cartagena roundup of the best things to do!!! cue excited squeals and confetti highfives. we started way back in 2013 when the majority of tourism in cartagena was tailored for the cruiseship market and streetfood and bazurto tours didn’t exist. it’s been a long, fun and sometimes not so fun (hello covid) road.. and we couldn’t be happier to receive this acknowledgment in such a powerful and important way. also sooo happy to see so many of our friends get the shoutout too such as yayyyyyyyyy!!!!

post-tour: definitely smiling, but break needed 😅. the majority of our tours are walking and we promise this isn’t because we are sadists! it really is the best way to see, engage and experience.. plus honestly, moving in any other way through the tiny, twisting labyrinth of Cartagena historical streets and laneways is extremely limiting/difficult. Not to mention, environmental impact 😇 Thank you to our intrepid travelers for braving the hot and sweaty conditions to live la vida local with us!
