Buena Onda Buena Onda is a lifestyle brand that brings social enterprise to different areas of the world in order to achieve community, development, and empowerment.

Located in Northern Colombia and Northwest Venezuela, the Wayuu People are known for making unique mochilas (handbags). On average, it takes 15 days to complete one mochila, depending on its size and design. Each family has their own signature designs that may represent specific events or hold special meanings, so all the mochilas are unique and different. From a young age the children are taught

by their elders how to make the mochilas, so the tradition has lived on for many generations and hopefully will continue into the future. In order for the Wayuu People to sell their goods, they must travel many hours to larger towns and tourist areas. Buena Onda is committed to creating opportunities for the Wayuu People by providing an international sales outlet to get their goods to market. By offering a route to economic growth and prosperity, the Wayuu People will be given support and encouragement to help current and future generations out of poverty.
