It took a while for you to find me, but I’ve been hiding in the lime tree 🎵🌴
Just a very short walk from .karuna is Playa Matapalo a very tranquil beach, where you can find fresh coconuts 🥥 🌴 and if you’re lucky, a dreamy surfer dude who will serve you your coconut fresh from the tree 😉🏄🏽♂️.
Luckily the rain will start coming again soon enough so my land can start blossoming again...
looking forward to planting some tropical trees - ylang ylang, banana, mango, avacado, guanabana, and lime 🌴🍌🥭🥑🍈
Over the past week I had lots of progress on Casa Karuna. I wasn’t keeping up to date on posting on here because I was having a hard time feeling excited about my dream coming true when there is so much suffering in the world right now... while my home is being created, others might be loosing theirs. That is hard to sit with...
All I can say is that I am so grateful for my privilege to have this dream still come true despite the pandemic...
I hope others in my position can think of ways to give back to those who need it, and realize how very little we things we need in life.
can allow us to create more space for connection to the things in life that really matter.

As my next trip to Costa Rica approaches (one month away) my nerves are starting to get loud 💥I am counting on the container to be delivered, septic system in place, hooked up to water and electricity, fence up, deck built and ready to be set up for rentals... yes, I am sweatin💦

WHY COSTA RICA?! 🇨🇷
Almost 4 years ago I stepped out of my comfort zone to travel to a foreign country alone to purse my at 🧘🏻♀️Little did I know was that this decision would forever change my life. A seed was planted and it into a that I never imagined . After the training a series of led me to recognizing that my dream could be a 💫
You might ask why was building a home in Costa Rica my dream?! ... I had traveled to many southern/Caribbean counties, Asia and South Africa, and no place that I have ever been to has felt like hOMe. Being surrounded in nature, immersed in the while enjoying the beautiful beaches and hearing the sounds of the OMazing wild life, allowed me to feel deeply connected to myself and the planet🌞🌴🌸Not only did my connection to yoga deepen, but I also learned to 🌊🏄♀️ - and developed into one of my . Costa Rica is know for the lifestyle which embodies a deep appreciation for life, nature, family, community and laid back living - appreciation for the things that really matter. Costa Rica is also know for its efforts in preservation and are leaders 🌏 .... I could go on about how amazing this place is and the impact it has had in my life, but I don’t have the space.... so you will just have to come down here and experience the PURA VIDA yourself 🤙🏼

This cute little surf town is only 10 minutes away from .karuna 📍Playa Dominical is best know for its waves 🌊 🏄♀️ and has a charming little market right on the beach 🌴🥥

Sad to see a lot of the green gone but land is now all ready for the foundation 👌🏼
Luckily plants grow back so fast in Costa Rica. You can literally snip a small branch off of a grown plant and stick it in the soil and it will grow 🌿
