It's approximately 40 minutes drive along the coast (close to Quepos). Some of the most pristine beaches of Costa Rica are located in Manuel Antonio along with their diverse food varieties and an array of vendors and adventures like parasailing, horseback riding along the beach, kayaking, surfing etc. Just north of Quepos is the Monkey Mangrove Tour which is another fantastic adventure where you'll get to feed the wild monkey's after going on a boat through the Mangroves. They also offer Sportfishing in the Mangroves, A Kayaking Adventure as well as a Mangrove Night Tour.Then if you head back up the mountain past Nauyaca Waterfall you can visit the busselling town of San Isidro. It's about 35 minutes up the mountain from the Waterfall Villa & Casitas. Mingle with the locals and dine in the many restaurants and find some fantastic shopping deals.
