From the deck of Casa Paraiso it looks like a plain rock sticking out of the water. If you get on the water and see it from a different angle you can understand why it has the name Monkey Head. If you get a chance to go underwater with Sirenas Adventures Costa Rica, you might see some of these amazing white tip reef shark that make a home below the water next to Monkey Head.

This is one of the most unique hikes you will ever experience! Swimming in and out of the 'refreshing' river, climbing over boulders, in and out of caves, smaller falls to see along the way. Eyelash viper! This beauty was found by my favorite animal finder and master wildlife photographer Walter Diaz in Bijagua! Just an hour and a half inland from Casa Paraiso and the pacific ocean is the lush rain forest town of Bijagua. It is worth the drive!
