¦ El famoso Cerro de la muerte... ¿Porqué se le llama así? ✍️.

🎙️Se le denominó Cerro de la Muerte 💀 ya que durante varias décadas el pueblo de Pérez Zeledon así como de los Santos no poseían una calle para así llegar hasta San José para abastecerse de provisiones.

😮 Para hacerlo debían recorrer cientos de kilometros a caballo Mula o caminando.

Esta travesía era de unos cuantos días por lo que se construyeron casas de adobe 🧱 para refugiarse del frío 🥶.

Hoy en día algunos vestigios de esas viejas casas 🏠 quedan en pie a las orillas de la carretera que hoy atraviesa dicho cerro.

Podríamos decir que esta fue una de los grandes Hiking 🥾 que se realizaron durante años.

It’s located 1.5 hours. We drive from Sámara beach to Puerto Humo (Tempisque river) were we will have fresh fruits waiting for us and after we will do a short walk to where the boat is located, is a 2 hours ride on the boat where we will have the chance to see different species of birds, monkeys, crocodile, trees, mangrove.
