Almaco Tours began in 2005 as a dream and an adventure for Miguel Sanchez and Bari Lehrman as they decided to settle in Costa Rica to build their future and their family. This Barcelona and New York-born couple spent a few years separately traveling the world before finally finding each other and unpacking their bags in Playas del Coco in 2003. Our fishing specialists bring years of experience to match any fish out there, and our closeness to the famed Witch’s Rock and Ollie’s Point make us the obvious jump start to ride those perfect waves. Almaco Tours is happy to offer our gourmet chef services on our beach barbecues, secluded beach picnics, or for any other special occasion … We can help you create the perfect backdrop for any moment, and no detail escapes our attention. For those of you who dream of doing something a bit different, we are happy to offer guided tours of the beautiful Santa Rosa National Park, UNESCO world-heritage site and home of the massive bull sharks, as well as providing guide services for the magnificent Coco’s Island National Park. We are also available for consultations, logistics, and guide services for private yachts. Almaco Tours operates from Playas del Coco, servicing Playas Ocotal, Coco, Hermosa, Panama, and Peninsula Papagayo. Guide services and consultations are available nationwide.
