Such an experience to watch these little Turtles. From December to May is the best time to see Baby Turtles leaving the egg and heading towards the ocean in Guanacaste and at the Peninsula de Osa.

Nesting is from June to November along the caribbean coast.

The Pacuare River, or the Río Pacuare, flows approximately 108 kilometres (67 mi) to the Caribbean. It is a popular location for white water rafting, whitewater kayaking and riverboarding. The rainforests that surround the river are home to exotic animal species such as jaguars, monkeys, ocelots, and a very large number of birds. Also it was considered one of the 5 nicest rivers to practice rafting.

The capuchin monkeysl are New World monkeys of the subfamily Cebinae. They are readily identified as the "organ grinder" monkey, and have been used in many movies and television shows. The range of capuchin monkeys includes some tropical forests in Central America and South America as far south as northern Argentina. In Central America, where they are called white-faced monkeys ("carablanca"), they usually occupy the wet lowland forests on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and Panama and deciduous dry forest on the Pacific coast.

el único género dentro de la familia Bradypodidae y representan uno de los dos linajes existentes de perezosos ( Folivora ). ( Choloepus ), el segundo linaje reciente, también tienen tres dedos en las patas traseras. Los perezosos de tres dedos viven en las áreas subtropicales a tropicales de América Central y del Sur y habitan allí principalmente en las selvas tropicales .. Allí llevan una vida solitaria en las copas de los árboles, a los que se adaptan a través de las características físicas individuales. Se alimentan principalmente de hojas, un alimento vegetal de muy bajo valor energético. Los animales son conocidos sobre todo por su bajo índice metabólico y el estilo de vida de ahorro de energía asociado. Desde un punto de vista sistemático , los perezosos de tres dedos contrastan con todos los demás grupos de perezosos, tanto vivos como extintos, pero no se sabe nada sobre su historia filogenética debido a la falta de hallazgos fósiles. Hoy existen cuatro especies: el perezoso pigmeo , el perezoso de collar y el perezoso de garganta blanca y marrón., los dos primeros están en peligro de extinción.

The Menelaus blue morpho (Morpho menelaus) is one of thirty species of butterfly in the subfamily Morphinae. Its wingspan is approximately 12 cm, and its dorsal forewings and hindwings are a bright, iridescent blue edged with black, while the ventral surfaces are brown. Its iridescent wings are an area of interest in research because of its unique microstructure.Due to its characteristic blue color, Morpho menelaus is considered valuable among collectors and was widely hunted in the 20th century. However, deforestation remains the main threat to the survival of this species.

Sea turtle migration is the long-distance movements of sea turtles (superfamily Chelonioidea) notably the long-distance movement of adults to their breeding beaches, but also the offshore migration of hatchings. Sea turtle hatchings emerge from underground nests and crawl across the beach towards the sea. They then maintain an offshore heading until they reach the open sea.The feeding and nesting sites of adult sea turtles are often distantly separated meaning some must migrate hundreds or even thousands of kilometres.

Agalychnis callidryas, known as the red-eyed tree frog, is an arboreal hylid native to Neotropical rainforests where it ranges from Mexico, through Central America, to Colombia. It is sometimes kept in captivity. The scientific name of the red-eyed treefrog, A. callidryas, comes from the Greek words kalos (beautiful) and dryas (a tree or wood nymph).

The rainforest itself is tropical, rather than temperate, meaning the climate of the rainforest is wet and warm much of the year.
