Isla Mujeres has a very diverse sports program, and this week, our local sports teams are gearing up for some epic action! Be sure to tag along and join us as we cheer for 🦁 Leonas de Isla Mujeres at their softball game vs. FESOC de Solidaridad this Sunday, or if you’d rather, tag along for the Elite Pro Soccer League big season finale Saturday night. ⚽️

𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃, your Monday afternoon plans! 🌅

Marina Bartolomé is THE place to have drinks with the gals! Their menu is delicious, and their chef, bartenders and staff know what's up and will 100% leave you 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊.

I had one too many and forgot what time's Happy Hour, but what I can tell you is that their dock, the view and their 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐎𝐎𝐋 makes them my favorite place to be at any day of the week!

Be sure to say hi to their bartender and nicest of friends Julio ❤️ and order the lobster pizza!!

'TIS THE 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 🤩

I wouldn't miss the Whaleshark Season for the world, and neither should you. 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 the season lasts from late MAY to early SEPTEMBER and these are a protected, free species we get to swim with every year.

There are private tour options, deep sea fishing + whaleshark tours, and also vegan and vegetarian options on board. 🥗

If you need any help booking or don't know who to book with, 𝐇𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐄 𝐔𝐏! My cousin and I would love to be your captain and guide you on such 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 ⚓️💙

How about a delicious smoothie made from fresh mangoes for a late snack? This is one of my 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐒 in the whole island 🤤

𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 from fresh lemonade, smoothies, frappes, anything from fresh fruit to even chocolate or marshmallow flavored!

It’s Sunday morning and what a better way to wrap the week than visiting a place of outstanding views, history, and culture.

At the south point of the island you can find the 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 [and love, and water, and pregnancy, and birthing, and sexuality] - 𝐈𝐗𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋; along with delicious coconuts, marquesitas, churros, souvenir stores, and the entrance to the mayan ruins [with a story that’ll melt your heart - but that’s another post].

People often ask if I get bored living in a 4.3 miles long island, but there is ALWAYS something new to discover.

Murals pop up thanks to the incredible work of LOCAL ARTISTS constantly - right now, these are my favorite ones 😍, hidden in between the streets of these tiny piece of paradise we get to call home.

How could I be bored if there is literal art anywhere you walk? 🎨💙
