Wednesday is an American coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror television series based upon the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega as the title character, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci appearing in supporting roles. Four out of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer. It revolves around the titular character, who attempts to solve a monster mystery at her school.
Burton was previously associated with two Addams Family-related projects: the 1991 film, which he passed on, and a cancelled stop-motion animated film. In October 2020, he was reported to be helming a television series, which was later given a series order by Netflix. Filming took place in Romania between September 2021 and March 2022. Wednesday premiered on November 16, 2022, and was released on Netflix on November 23 to generally positive reviews from critics, who praised Ortega's performance but found some similarities to CW dramas. Within two weeks of release, it became the third-most watched English-language Netflix series.

The new F1 film, which was directed by none other than Top Gun: Maverick, will undoubtedly be compared to Tom Cruise's next legacy sequel as soon as it is announced. For many years, Cruise has been one of the most well-known movie actors worldwide. More than anything else, his career has been shaped in recent years by the follow-ups to some of his most famous films. Mission: Impossible 8 is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2025, a third Top Gun film is in development, and there are rumors that a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow may be approved.
In addition to the aforementioned movies, a sequel to Cruise's 1990 movie Days of Thunder is being made. Days of Thunder follows the rivalry-turned-friendship between NASCAR drivers Cole Trickle and Rowdy Burns. While the original movie only has a score of 38% on Rotten Tomatoes, Cruise has a desire to make a sequel to Days of Thunder. However, assuming the Days of Thunder sequel is released in the next few years, this means that it will immediately be compared to F1, the 2025 racing movie from Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski.

Plot:

Though nature has started to make a comeback, the task of restoring Earth to a sustainable, vibrant planet is far from complete. The atmosphere is still recovering, and human activity is still needed to help heal the wounds left by centuries of pollution.
WALL-E, ever loyal to his mission, continues to clean up the remnants of humanity’s waste and help nurture the new life forms sprouting on Earth. However, a new dilemma arises when a strange signal is detected from deep space—something is calling humanity to return to the planet. The human population, once residing on the spaceship Axiom, is now faced with the prospect of coming back to Earth. But with this return comes a new, unforeseen set of challenges, both technological and environmental.
The story takes a turn when WALL-E and EVE discover that an alien species has taken an interest in Earth’s recovery—and not necessarily for the right reasons. A new antagonist, The Redeemers, a faction of technologically advanced beings, sees Earth’s potential as a valuable resource for their own civilization’s growth. They intend to harvest the planet's newfound life force, risking the hard-won restoration that WALL-E and the humans have worked toward.
As WALL-E and EVE travel to faraway galaxies to uncover the truth behind this new alien force, they will face new adventures, dangers, and dilemmas that test their courage, resolve, and love for Earth. The duo will discover new worlds, meet new allies, and fight to protect the future of Earth against those who wish to exploit it once more.
