Havana is open!!! Finally Havana Airport is open to Internacional flights and we are eager to welcome you in our country 😁.

From next 15th November José Martí Airport will be open. Check with your preferred airline for flights 😉

Finally!!!! Varadero, one of the most beautiful beach sites of Cuba, will again be open to international tourism from this 15th October.
Due to the COVID-19 sanity and security measures, only certain hotels and areas will be open and contact with locals will not be possible for the moment. Hotels open will be:

The Historian of Havana, the great Doctor Eusebio Leal Spengler has passed away a few hours ago. Cuba mourns his death as he has been one of the most loyal and loving sons of the Homeland.
Rest in Peace, Eusebio, we will always remember you with admiration, pride and love

International tourism will be allowed into Cuba once the Phase 3 be declared.

We are still on Phase 1, but the government is working very hard on achieving a fast development of the situation in order to finally be able of defeating the disease in the Island.

So luckily we will soon meet again in our beautiful Cuba.

Have you tried Cuban Mojito? It's one of the most popular cocktails all over the world as is very refreshing, healthy, and delicious!! Here you have our Vamos*Cuba recipe 😉

🥛On a Collins glass, pour juice of half lemon🍋
🍯Add 1tbs of hone or brown sugar
🥃2fl oz of 3 years old Havana Club Rum and mix well
🌿Add one or two branches of Hierba Buena and grind. The trick is to get all the juice from the leaves
❄️Fill with ice cubes and top with Seven Up or Sprite. Stir a bit to mix all the flavors
🌿Garnish with a branch of Hierba Buena, a straw, a stirer and a dash of Angostura.

Cuba and it's people are true wonders to be discovered. One of it's most facinating aspects is its religious faith, which is a mixture of all the different religions that arrived into the Island from all over the world.

Most of the Cuban population is Catholic, although, as we are speaking of Cuba, usually the religious beliefs are mixed with others such as the Yoruba.
One particular figure within the Cuban faith is Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre (also know as Our Lady of Charity). She is the Patroness of the Island.

Her first apparition was in the 1600s, when a tremendous storm threatened three fishermen and as they began to pray, then as the waters calmed and in the distance they saw what seemed to be a girl until they realized it was a statue of the Virgen holding the child in her right arm and with a gold cross in her left hand. The inscription read “I am the Virgen of Charity”.

The statue has an interesting story where she repeatedly disappeared in the 2 churches she was placed in and then finally appeared to a young girl on the mountain near El Cobre where the beautiful Basilica was then built.

Have you tried Cubata?? It's super easy to make and sooo refreshing and delicious. Here you have our Vamos*Cuba recipe 😉

🥛 On a Collins glass, pour 1/2 fl oz of fresh lemon juice 🍋, add 2 fl oz of 7 year old Havana Club Rum 🥃 (you can substitute with Reserve or Special), fill with ice cubes ❄️ and top with Coca Cola🥤. You can serve with straw and garnish with a lemon wedge. Salud!!!

The dust cloud arrived into the East of the country starting the week and it's now on the Capital. It is expected to be heavier today and tomorrow and will be leaving the Island early Saturday.
