On the pictures a beautiful family, who this year celebrated the Christmas holiday in Cape Verde with us.⛄ On Boxing Day we all went on an adventure together with Gon Gon tours. 🌞

CHRISTMAS IN CAPE VERDE🙌

During Christmas days in Cape Verde, it is all about music, family and traditional food such as rice, chicken and the local drinks grogue and ponche. Just like in the Western countries, the Cape Verdeans buy little gifts for their beloved ones.

It is a tradition to go to church on Christmas Eve, at noon, and then visit friends and family.

Music is a key element of the Cape Verdean culture and creates a good atmosphere in the streets and at home. Music is just everywhere. Speakers are placed at the back of cars and on main squares and different Cape Verdean music styles were played all day long.

If you want to spent Christmas in the sun next year, Cape Verde is the place to be! And like the Cape Verdeans used to say: BOAS FESTAS!✨💫

There is a sub-tropical climate on Cape Verde. The temperature varies between 22 and 30 degrees during the year. The summer period is windless and the winter period has cooler evenings. The temperature drops little, but it comes a fresh wind. Sometimes fresh enough for the Cape Verde to wear a hat!

Due to the pleasant climate, this is the country to visit all year round. Close to the equator you are always assured of a basic temperature of approximately 28 degrees.

The beautiful unspoilt nature and vast beaches provide a wonderful holiday feeling. The locals are warm-hearted and smiling people. The no stress atmosphere makes it a very relaxing place for everyone. But don't just listen to us, come and experience it for yourself!
