Polite and pleasant people work here. They helped us with the selection and brought the order quickly. In general, there is nothing to add, everything was very good.

🪴 Atmosphere

The cafe is visible from afar and can be recognized by the guitar that lights up at night. The cafe occupies an entire building, with 3 floors. The first two floors are suitable for visiting with friends or family, but on the third - the atmosphere is more for evening relaxation, where you can dance, drink something, enjoying the orange evening sky.

We were here in the summer, sitting on the first floor. It was very hot. The ceiling fans were helpless. Therefore, we suggest choosing a table on the terrace or on the balcony.

In general, it is interesting here, you can sit and look at various fotos, newspaper clippings, guitars. There are many of them here. Wooden tables, dark red leather seats, wooden fans. The cafe has their own store, where you can buy various of their branded items. It's cool.

🍔 Food

We ordered the original legendary burger, fries with cheese sauce and bacon. It was not tasty at all. Sorry.. The meat was greasy, the bun was stale. We realized that it is simply not ours. Unfortunately there were too many unnatural flavors for us.

Great place for desserts 🍰

Since there are a lot of places for guests and there are also a lot of guests from morning to evening, there are also a lot of waiters here. When you enter a restaurant, they immediately approach you and ask what you would like.
If you take dessert to go, you get a 5% discount.
Actually everything was fine, except one case. I didn’t like it just when they paid with a card, they asked how we would pay the tip, as if they were definitely expected.

🪴 Atmosphere

The restaurant is located in the corner of the street, occupies a two-story building. They have a cozy summer playground. Inside is a modern interior, a combination of gray velvet, green and gold.
It is a pleasure to sit on the second floor, especially at a table by the window, which offers a beautiful view of the old architectural building. There are many visitors here, it will be noisy 🙂 or come in the morning, around 8-10.

🥘 Food

The restaurant serves a standard Cypriot breakfast, sweet and savory pancakes, salads, meat dishes.
All dishes are not the same as in taverns, more modern.
The most important thing here is probably the desserts.
- Many different types of cheesecake
- brownies - I definitely recommend you to try one with cheese, it’s very delicious
- cookies
- red velvet.

Everything is cooked by their chef, not imported and served in big pieces.
Try their own juices or fresh juices, even more like smoothies, very tasty.

What souvenir to bring from Cyprus

Cyprus, as you know, is divided into two parts: northern (Turkish part) and southern (Greek part). I think it is worth visiting both there and to understand life in Cyprus better.

Souvenirs are probably also better to lead from both parts.
Standard list of souvenirs from Cyprus:

Where is the best place to buy groceries in Cyprus?

Let me tell you right now, there is no just one place. Basically like in any other country. It is better to buy something in one store, something in another.

Here is a list of my places to buy groceries:

- Frutaria - fresh local fruits and vegetables, cheaper than in other places

- - fruits and vegetables, you can also buy berries such as blueberries, blackberries. Superfoods

- - exotic fruits and vegetables, superfoods, dairy products, tea, dried herbs, chamomile, nuts, etc.

Very nice people work here. Everyone is glad to see you, they help you to choose the most delicious ice cream. They can even offer to dip in chocolate a couple of times, to make a good chocolate layer.

This is a small coffee shop. It is located in the center of Larnaca, near Firikoudes beach, which is very convenient.

🍦 Food

There is a huge selection of both sorbets and milk-based ice cream. Everything is made from natural products.

In addition to ice cream, you can choose some topping and sprinkle with nuts, coconut, cookies, whatever you want.

❤️ My fav is probably the chocolate ice cream with milk chocolate topping and coconut flakes.

🐶 Also, they didn’t forget to prepare a cooling treat for your dogs, so that it would be easier for them to endure hot days.

So take yourself, your family, friends and dogs and visit for ice cream for everyone!

This is a small women's clothing store from Cypriot brands.

I really like such places, just through them you can get acquainted with the local culture, the life of people closer and feel here not as a tourist, but as a resident of Cyprus.

👠 I advise you to come and meet the owner of the store, Barbara. She is also a designer and you can also find her clothing collection here.

💃 By the way, I bought myself flared trousers and a soft cotton skirt. The fabric is so pleasant to the body that it is a great pleasure to wear it.

✨ Barbara selects brands and clothes that she plans to present in the showroom as for herself, therefore the quality is really good. I also think you will like that all products are in limited quantity so you don't have to be afraid to meet someone else in the same dress or skirt.

Nice people work here and the feeling is as if you are visiting someone’s home, not a cafe. Very homey.

🪴 Atmosphere

The cafe is located in the center of Oroklini. There are always many visitors here before lunch. Mostly local Britains. Here they drink tea, coffee, discuss the news, have breakfast.

🥘 Food

The cafe serves breakfast, which consists mainly of eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans, sausages, toasts.

You can order fresh homemade cakes and pastries, with jam, butter, tea or coffee.

And by the way, tea is served in very cute teapots. Everything here is truly homemade.

Aesthetic place, with access to a private garden. The interior is very simple, but thought out to the smallest detail. It's good to work here, meet friends or come alone and enjoy delicious coffee. You can compare the noise of this place like the sea. Sometimes it is completely empty and very quiet, only music can be heard. And sometimes it is noisy, there are many guests, children, dogs. And this is probably some kind of charm of this place that attracts people. After all, people come, drink coffee, and then come again.

If you would like to leave a tip, be sure to bring cash with you. Unfortunately, it is not possible to leave a tip with a card.

Until 10:00 every day there is a buffet. Therefore, you partially serve yourself.

🪴 Atmosphere

A small cafe is located in the center of Larnaca. There is a nice, cozy summer terrace. You can also sit inside. The cafe cooperates with the hotel, which is located in the same building. Therefore, it is very convenient for hotel guests to come down from their room and have a cup of coffee or breakfast.

Pleasant atmosphere for work, business or friendly meeting.

If you want to work, it's probably better to come after 10:00, as during the buffet it's a bit noisy here and all the tables can be occupied.

The waiters here are very friendly. Our orders were filled instantly. Here you do not need to wait and call the waiters, they work quickly, with a smile, even in the terrible heat.
They helped us with the choice of drinks, suggested which one would be tastier, taking into account our wishes. Here they made an alcoholic smoothie for us, but it was not even on the menu.

🪴 Atmosphere
There is a feeling of vacation, cheerful music, palm trees, a green bright lawn around. People come in swimsuits and shorts to take a refreshing cocktail. Here you can meet lizards and feed them something tasty. We fed them pineapple.

🥘 Food
If we talk about the menu, then they serve everything that you can quickly eat near the beach. There are burgers, pizza, various snacks.
We would advise you to try cocktails, smoothies and other drinks.
Smoothies are really delicious.

After visiting one restaurant on Mackenzie and after 20 minutes waiting for the waiter to order, we left and went to Salamis, which was the exact opposite.

The waiters were very friendly, attentive and quickly brought orders. We also want to note their patience with customers, as we ordered one dish, then changed our minds and ordered another. To which they simply told us that everything would be done.

🪴 Atmosphere

The restaurant is located between two beaches, road and parking. But Cypriots know how to create comfort even in such a place. There is a summer terrace, where it is cool even in extreme heat.

There are many TVs inside the restaurant, which allows you to come with a company and enjoy a sports match and good food

🥘 Food

This is a Cypriot restaurant with all the national dishes of Cyprus, and a large selection of fresh fish.

We had a good time here. We ate a Greek salad, a mix of kebabs, lunza and grilled halloumi, and drank homemade wine.

Once it was just a bicycle with a coffee machine that moved around Larnaca and served delicious coffee to guests. Now it's a full-fledged coffee shop near Finikoudes with this bike inside as a reminder of where it all began.

Everyone who works here is very nice and friendly people. After all, it is not for nothing that the institution is constantly full of guests.

🪴 Atmosphere

The coffee shop is very spacious and can be entered from two streets. Inside it is cozy, warm light, there are velor sofas and armchairs, wooden tables and it smells delicious. We loved the floral wallpaper on one wall, which gives it a vintage vibe.
There is a place to work on the second floor.

There are delicious sandwiches here, probably the best in Cyprus. The most classic sandwich and already delicious.

The restaurant is run by a Georgian woman or her sister. Everyone tries to please the guests. They will serve dishes, taking into account all your wishes.
Everything is cooked here fresh and only for you, so you will have to wait a bit until the dish is ready.

🪴 Atmosphere

The restaurant is located in the central part of the old town, near the church of St. Lazarus. Although the place is touristy and crowded, its cozy location is very conducive.

🥘 Food

The restaurant serves Cypriot food. But the hostess can even cook khinkali or khachapuri if you ask in advance.
While you are waiting for your dish, pickles, pita will be brought to you, ask to heat it up so that it tastes better.
It would be nice to try moussaka here - served in a pot, dolmades as an appetiser, Greek salad, sheftalia. Ask also for sauce - hummus or satsiki. You'll like it.
Mushroom soup - we didn't really like it, but it's just not the right dish to order here.

Morning Finikoudes 🌴

Morning is the best time for sports. Those lucky ones who woke up early in the morning enjoy the coolest time of the day in Cyprus.

This is especially appreciated on hot summer days. People run along the beach, play tennis, and are the first to enter the cool sea.
