There are an infinite number of unique areas for diving. Some seek to explore all of them, while others have chosen their favorite places and dive only there. In any case, there are places that are familiar to all divers and are considered must-see-places.

The Southern Cyclades are one of them and include Milos, Folegandros, Santorini, Paros, Serifos and a few more islands with very interesting sites and landscapes. Each of the islands have their own diving community where local services will provide both local guides and necessary equipment. Very convenient for those who are not ready to travel from afar with a full set of their own equipment.

There are five natural areas in the world, which are conventionally named by scientists Blue Zone. These are places in different parts of the Earth, where the number of healthy long-livers is abnormally high. This article describes in detail the lifestyle of the inhabitants of one of these places, the Greek island of Ikaria.
