🛸 On Saint Andrew's day (30 November) we took a great road trip on Troodos mountains and shot the footage of Aerial Discoveries new episode during our stops and visits. What made our latest road trip special was the fact that we shot all footage using our drone. This gave us the opportunity to capture places that one can only see from above.

🏞 Besides being breathtakingly beautiful, Troodos serves as a constant reminder that Cyprus has so much more to offer than its beaches and tourist areas. Also the route we took from Limassol was approximately 100 kilometres and it's one of the shortest, easiest and most beautiful routes anyone can drive.

🗺 The route:

Starting from Limassol we headed towards Alassa and then drove further towards Laneia and Trimiklini. We then drove to Prodromos to see the old spooky hotel Berengaria (currently being renovated) and take some videos along the way. Then we visited Platres, as well as Kaledonia natural trail and waterfall.

🛸 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 | 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟐

▶ This week's episode was shot at Kourion beach, one of Limassol's most popular beaches. There, instead of loud music one can listen to the calming sounds of the wind and the waves and appreciate the serenity of this beautiful setting.

🗺 Located south of Kourion archaeological site, Kourion beach features spectacular views of the nearby cliffs of Zapalo, the ruins of ancient Kourion, a horse farm, and people usually take long walks or have a coffee or beer sitting near the water.

📹 Filming there with our drone has been an amazing experience and we will return soon for more footage.
