Kykkos monastery is adorned with decorations and antique exhibits made from precious metals such as gold, silver, brass, and bronze. Set on a mountain peak, you will need to bring your hiking gear if you want to reach this spot. The museum found at the centre will give you an account of the pre-Christian history contained in the manuscripts and other documents. At the end of your journey, settle down with a glass of wine, before descending. You might want to join locals and other visitors on August, 15 and September, 8 for the annual religious fairs.

Agia Theclic catacomb
Just a few kilometers from Ayia Napa, quite out of the Municipality of Sotira Famagusta you will see the chapel of Agia Thekla, which is famous in the wider region of Kokkinohoria and the free district of Famagusta. Today, this chapel is chosen by many locals and locals to do their wedding. The landscape is still 'wild', while on the right of the church there is the organized beach of Agia Theklis, while Agia Napa Marina is on the left.
There, near the chapel a few meters further you will descend a few steps and will face a catacomb which is essentially a small cave. Some sources report that it is a tomb and looks like it has the shape of a double cross. This figure, as archaeologists explain it, can be found in the Early Christian temples. Probably the cave was a small underground temple and was abandoned when the Early Christian Basilica was built.
