Mooring patrol and maintenance is conducted weekly.

Please do not secure more than one vessel to a mooring at any time.

All NPT Moorings have a 90 minute time limit and are day use only.

NPT Moorings should not be confused with overnight moorings in anchorages.

Please exercise "CAUTION!!!" Mooring sites are usually located in exposed areas. Review the weather, obey beach safety flags located on various beaches throughout the Virgin Islands. Remember that RED FLAGS indicate DANGER, and yachts are prohibited from using the mooring field.

A marine conservation permit is required by law to use NPT Moorings. Available at all Ports of Entry, Yacht Charter Companies and the National Parks Trust office.

When in doubt, stop by our office or your nearest yacht charter company and pick up a "Procedure to Secure a Monohull and Multihull Vessel to a Mooring Buoy" guide. With step by step instructions, pictures as well as anchoring and mooring regulations and mooring buoy colour code system!!

The British Virgin Islands will have an additional cultural heritage attraction for both residents and visitors, when the doors open at the new Her Majesty’s Prison Museum on Main Street on December 6.

This is a true this morning after a great day at the Jost Pork Fest and Jost Crawl. This was closing out the night at Ivan's Stress Free Bar in White Bay last night.
