Tretet morgen der Black Joy Bike Parade bei und seid Teil der Bewegung...

Agenda wie folgt: Wir starten um 14:30 Uhr, und der Umzug wird voraussichtlich etwa 30 Minuten dauern. Die Liste der Redner umfasst:

1. Mich selbst als Organisator
2. Anthony von EPOCa
3. Helen von Tigray-Initiative
4. Adrian Afro-futuristische nicht-binäre Elternperson, Gewinner von "Paint Like Raven" bei Drag Con UK)

Jeder Redner hat zwischen 2 und 5 Minuten Zeit, um ihre jeweiligen Gemeinschaften zu repräsentieren, sie zu stärken und unsere Vielfalt zu zeigen.

Die kurzen Reden während des Umzugs, die sich an die Gemeinschaft richten, werden wertvolle Einblicke und Erfahrungen in die Schaffung inklusiver Räume für die schwarze Gemeinschaft bieten und die Bedeutung unserer Arbeit betonen. Wir setzen uns dafür ein, eine verbesserte Repräsentation und Anerkennung der Existenz schwarzer Menschen als relevante und zusammenhängende Bevölkerungsgruppe in Deutschland zu fordern.

Der Umzug endet gegen 17:30 Uhr im Pan African Restaurant. Ich bitte alle freundlich darum, am Ende eine Spende zu erwägen, da diese Veranstaltung von mir allein organisiert wird und ich die Kosten decken muss, um Dokumentationen zu erstellen, ein Archiv für die Zukunft aufzubauen und zukünftige Generationen zu stärken. Ich freue mich darauf, euch morgen zu sehen.

Hast Du Dich auch mal gewundert, wann die schwarze Geschichte in Berlin eigentlich anfing?
Zewdi lädt Dich ein in die deutsche Geschichte gemeinsam zurückzublicken, um die schwarze Geschichte Berlins in einem Berliner Museum wiederzuentdecken.
Das Museum Treptow Köpenick ist die erste Dauerausstellung zu Kolonialismus, Rassismus und Schwarzem Widerstand. Dies knüpft anschließend an „die erste deutsche Kolonialausstellung“, die vom 1.Mai bis zum 15.Oktober 1896 im Berliner Treptower Park stattfand. Um sich als Kolonialmacht inszenieren zu lassen, verschleppte das Deutsche Kaiserreich 106 Menschen, die als „Kolonialuntertanen“ öffentlich zur Schau gestellt wurden. Wer diese Menschen im Individuellen waren und wie sie sich gegen diese Gräueltaten wehrten, erfährst du in dieser Führung.

Wir laden Sie herzlich ein zu einer kritischen Führung durch das Humboldt Forum mit dem tansanischen Aktivisten Mnyaka Sururu Mboro von Berlin Postkolonial. Mboro zählt zu den energischsten und bekanntesten Kritikern des Humboldt Forums, gegen das er seit der Grundsteinlegung in 2013 gestritten hat. Er nimmt Sie mit auf eine Tour durch die Ausstellungen, die historische afrikanische Kulturschätze präsentieren, als wären sie zeitgenössische Kunst, die rechtmäßig "erworben" wurde.

Mboro macht dabei deutlich, mit wie viel Gewalt die Aneignung der Kulturschätze verbunden war und dass der Kolonialismus grundsätzlich auf Unrecht basierte. Insbesondere wird er über den Rückgabeprozess für Kulturobjekte und menschliche Gebeine von Deutschland nach Tansania berichten, der - wenn auch schleppend - in Gang zu kommen scheint.

Diese Führung bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, einen kritischen Blick auf die Präsentation der afrikanischen Kulturschätze im Humboldt Forum zu werfen und mehr über die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Rückgabeprozess zu erfahren. Like London and Paris, Berlin is a colonial metropolis - but unlike in these sister cities, this history is rarely officially acknowledged in the German capital. Yet the cityscape is evidently shaped by colonial history, anticolonial resistance and its many present day trajectories. This tour in the context of BLACK OURSTORY MONTH invites People of African descent to engage this space as a lens that enables us to gain new perspectives - to celebrate resistance and ask some hard questions about our present. The tour will be given in English!

Die Ausstellung zeichnet die Projekte, Debatten und Politiken der kolonialen Metropolenmigration Berlins nach.

Im Mittelpunkt stehen die komplexen Lebens- und Widerstandswirklichkeiten aus Kamerun, Ägypten und weitere Länder, die trotz Rassismus und Ausgrenzung in die Stadt kamen und im Prozess des Kolonialismus zu Berlinern wurden.

So hab ich es in den Bundestag geschafft. 😍 Mein Besuch im Bundestag während des Black History Month eingeladen von @armand_zorn war eine Reise in die Tiefe der afrikanischen Diaspora in Deutschland. Die Veranstaltung 'Black Voices' war ein lebendiger Beweis dafür, dass Vielfalt unsere größte Stärke ist. Experten, Aktivisten und Künstler teilten ihre Erfahrungen und Herausforderungen, aber auch ihre Hoffnungen und Träume. Jede Geschichte war einzigartig, jede Perspektive wertvoll. Es war ein Abend, der nicht nur zum Nachdenken anregte, sondern auch zum Handeln motivierte. Die Ausstellung zeigte die Errungenschaften afrikanischer Gemeinschaften und wie sie Deutschland bereichern. Ich verließ den Bundestag mit einem Gefühl der Hoffnung und dem Wunsch, Teil dieser positiven Veränderung zu sein. Dieser Abend war eine lebendige Erinnerung daran, dass Geschichte lebt und wir alle dazu beitragen, sie zu schreiben. Join us tomorrow for the Black Joy Bike Parade's Agenda as follows: We will start at 2:30 PM, and the parade is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The lineup of speakers includes: 1. Zewdi the organizer 2. Anthony from EPOCa 3. Helen from the Tigray Initiative 4. Adrian Afro Futuristic non-binary parent, winner of "Paint Like Raven" at Drag Con UK Each speaker will have between 2 and 5 minutes to represent their respective communities, empower them, and showcase our diversity. The short speeches during the parade, addressing the community, will provide valuable insights and experiences in creating inclusive spaces for the Black community, emphasizing the importance of our work. We aim to advocate for improved representation and recognition of the existence of Black people as a relevant and cohesive population in Germany. The parade will conclude at the Pan African Restaurant around 5:30 PM. I kindly ask everyone to consider making a donation at the end, as this event is organized solely by me and I need to cover the costs to create documentation, build an archive for the future, and empower future generations. We are in need of 2 amazing individuals to support us in organizing this event. We require one volunteer at 12:30 to assist the sound group in transporting a stereo into a demonstration car. Another volunteer is needed to be present at 14:00 until the end of the parade, ensuring the group stays together. You'll be the last person, followed by the police escort. 🙌 If you're available and willing to help, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
