We're back and bigger than ever for the fifth time, inviting everyone to celebrate the beautiful summer days and uplift the visibility of Black people in Germany. Let's share joy, spread hope, and strengthen our community together!

🗣️ Special Guest Speech: We're looking for a renowned activist and advocate for Black rights in Germany to share inspiring words with us. If you're passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

📣 Support Needed: As we organize this event from the heart and without financial backing, we need your help to find sponsors. 👉 Experience the First Colonial Museum in Berlin!
Dive into the heart of German history and explore the Treptow Köpenick Museum, the first permanent exhibition dedicated to Colonialism, Racism, and Black Resistance. It picks up from "the first German Colonial Exhibition" held in the Berlin Treptower Park from May 1 to October 15, 1896.

🔍 Unveiling the Past:
The German Empire, in its bid to portray itself as a colonial power, forcibly transported 106 individuals labeled as "Colonial Subjects" who were publicly exhibited. Discover the stories of these individuals, their resilience, and resistance against these atrocities in this enlightening guided tour.

So hab ich es in den Bundestag geschafft. 😍 Mein Besuch im Bundestag während des Black History Month eingeladen von @armand_zorn war eine Reise in die Tiefe der afrikanischen Diaspora in Deutschland. Die Veranstaltung 'Black Voices' war ein lebendiger Beweis dafür, dass Vielfalt unsere größte Stärke ist. Experten, Aktivisten und Künstler teilten ihre Erfahrungen und Herausforderungen, aber auch ihre Hoffnungen und Träume. Jede Geschichte war einzigartig, jede Perspektive wertvoll. Es war ein Abend, der nicht nur zum Nachdenken anregte, sondern auch zum Handeln motivierte. Die Ausstellung zeigte die Errungenschaften afrikanischer Gemeinschaften und wie sie Deutschland bereichern. Ich verließ den Bundestag mit einem Gefühl der Hoffnung und dem Wunsch, Teil dieser positiven Veränderung zu sein. Dieser Abend war eine lebendige Erinnerung daran, dass Geschichte lebt und wir alle dazu beitragen, sie zu schreiben.
