NEW YEAR 2023 IN SAHARA
Hello, beautiful people, I am Natalia, I lived last 9 years in different countries, including 3 years of “digital nomading”. Traveling became the best education for me; on trips I met many friends with similar interests.
Right now I am looking for 20 people to celebrate New Year 2023 together in Sahara. We – a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals – will meet local Berbers, wise Bedouins, Tuaregs, native people living in the desert. Within 12 days (26th of December – 6th of January) we will drive by cars through the whole Morocco: visit 4 main medinas, surf in the Atlantic ocean, take pictures in the blue village of Chefchaouen and see locations from Holywood movies (Gladiator, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Living Daylights, Game of Thrones)…
I’d like to ask those of you who travel a lot, what is the main reason for you to travel? Is it entertainment, or maybe curiosity to see how different nations live? Or do you travel to understand yourself better through experiencing life in a new culture?
Immersion into a new culture let me see my life from a different angle. I stayed in the family of Quechua people in Peru, lived in a Chinese family as au-pair, traveled to indijenas places in South of Mexico and spent one month in Myanmar – those experiences broaden my horizons and shaped my perception of life. You will never remain the same person after experiencing a new culture!
Morocco is warm for New Year season and has diverse nature. Instead of excursions customized for foreigners that have little in common with true authentic life in Morocco, instead of souvenir shops, we will go fishing to a hidden lake in Sahara, sit around a cup of tea with local people on a real Tuareg caravan, explore medinas with a charming ngab lady.
