Having been immersed in the Transportation logistics and Supply Chain industry for over 23 years, Liam brings a depth and breadth of experience relating to operational and strategic elements. Ratifying Liams experience, is his association with the DHBW University, Mannheim where he teaches on the Bachelor International Business course in the areas of Value Chains, International production and logistics, Supply chain management and Project management. Liam is an analytical thinker who deploys modelling techniques to support complex business analysis and implementation of 3PL contracts for customers to redesigning logistics distribution networks in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. He has good people skills which enable him to work as part of a team and in building a people framework for project environments. This was ratified by the EIQA Ireland awards, where the team he headed up were given the award of team of the year 2008. Carrying expertise in the high tech and foodservice sectors from a supplier and customer perspective, permits both operational and strategic allows delivery of projects to be based around sound experience and industry knowledge. Aforementioned projects have involved design, selection and implementation of Optrak and Paragon vehicle routing software, extensive use of Red Prairie, BCP and Birchstreet purchasing and logistics systems and have exposure to SAP, Manhattan, and Extend BPR systems all within a logistics/supply chain context. In 2011 Liam was invited to partner on a European Union funded 7th Framework program (FP7-SME-2011) reviewing multi-modal markets in the UK and Germany, with particular focus on category management, market share and network opportunity. Being centrally located just outside of Luxembourg in the heart of Europe, Fassam Consulting is well placed to act as a pivotal resource in delivering end to end supply chain excellence.
