Čiovo Reiseinformationen zur Halbinsel Čiovo bei Trogir Die Insel Ciovo befindet sich in Mitteldalmatien zwischen den Städten Trogir und Split.

Die Insel ist etwa 15,3 Kilometer lang und bis zu 3,5 Kilometer breit. Ingesamt leben etwa 6000 Menschen auf der Insel. Viele haben dort nur ein Wochenendhäuschen um dem Stadtleben zu entfliehen. Der höchste Berg ist Rudine mit einer Höhe von etwa 220 Metern. Im Nordwesten der Insel verbindet sie eine Brücke mit dem Städtchen Trogir. Mit der Lage der Insel schliesst sie die Kastelanski Bucht ab.
