⚡ Massive Power Outage Strikes Cuba Amidst Hurricane Oscar 🌪️

Since Friday, Cuba has been plunged into darkness after a major power plant failure left most of the country without electricity. Over 10 million people are now struggling not only with power cuts but also with challenges like maintaining fresh food and a reliable water supply.

If you find yourself traveling in Cuba, Havana Journeys recommeds you to rely on your Cuban hosts for guidance. Contact your embassy in case of need, and avoid going too far from the main cities since the situation might be worse in the countryside.
