As always, this is a great opportunity to exchange ideas with tourism industry professionals and find out about future trends. Despite political and financial challenges, people, including young people, desire to continue traveling in 2024. Important topics were sustainable tourism and technical solutions including AI. Despite major strikes in Germany (airlines, trains and local public transport) almost 100,000 attendees came to Berlin👍
We found it very interesting, how travelers make their choice of destination. A survey shows that the most important factors are tasting local food, followed by sightseeing and going to the beach.
