Thai-German Trilateral Cooperation Programme Thai-German Trilateral Cooperation supports development efforts in Southeast Asia, through the shari education, rural development and health.

For almost six decades Thailand and Germany had cooperated through bilateral technical cooperation. Graduating from recipient-donor relations, both countries started a new chapter of development cooperation in 2008. A new partnership for regional development with pooled resources has been established. Thailand and Germany jointly transfer development experiences and technical know-how to support t

he third partner countries to implement small-scaled trilateral projects in selected sectors i.e. Currently, the third partner countries include Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam with possible extension to other countries in the region. The programme also aims to enhance Thailand's role as provider of development cooperation and support South-South cooperation focusing on expertise in the region to promote regional wisdom, strength and ownership. The programme is co-funded by Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
