We're warming up for the biggest event of April – the iconic 4island race! 🚵♀️
The final stage of this all terrain race will take place on April 20th on Rab, and it will include various surfaces like asphalt, concrete, forest paths and gravel roads.
The nature around our beautiful island makes it one of the most interesting MTB races to experience, so we invite everyone to come and see for themselves.

Sommertour des FSA Präsidenten Holger Stahlknecht
Gestern hatten wir hohen Besuch auf unserer „Dieter-Höhne-Sportstätte“ in Nebra.
Zu Gast war der Präsident des Fußballverband Sachsen-Anhalt Holger Stahlknecht und auch Rayk Payser vom Kreissportbund Burgenland e.V. besuchte unsere Sportanlage. Und des Weiteren durfte unser Vorstand, u.a. Steffen Fuchs, Lukas Poweleit und Sven Geppert, auch den Landrat a.D. Harry Reiche und Bürgermeisterin Antje Scheschinski begrüßen.
Der Vorstand bedankt sich herzlich für den Besuch und die konstruktiven Gespräche!
Wir finden das eine sehr gute Aktion des FSA, um den Kontakt zur wichtigen Basis und den Mitgliedern zu stärken. Wir wünschen Herrn Stahlknecht weiterhin ein gutes Händchen bei der Zukunftsgestaltung des FSA.
Ein Dank geht auch wieder an unser Orga Team, um Sabine Richter, Ines Kowalewicz und Steffi Fuchs für die tolle Deko und die Versorgung der Veranstaltung mit Getränken und einen kleinen Imbiss.
Danke auch an die Platztruppe, Oliver Schulschefski, Mathias Klingenstein und alle „Seniorengruppe“, für das herrichten der Sportanlage.
So sollte Zusammenarbeit aussehen, von ganz oben, dem FSA bis zum Platzwart. DANKE !!!

Our beloved island Rab truly has a rich history.
The island was settled by the Illyrians in 350 BC, and in the 1st century Rab became a Roman municipality that developed into an important center on the eastern coast of the Adriatic called Felix Arba (Arb is an Illyrian word meaning wooded, dark, green).
Throughout the centuries, it’s rich history has been preserved for all who settled after, and for those who visited to explore the island.
So it is no surprise that today you can discover the town walls, palaces, campaniles, and other medieval buildings.

On April 20th, Rab will have the pleasure of hosting a unique race in the world of MTB.
This famous mountain biking race will consist of 5 days of racing, covering over 290 km of trails and 6150 meters of climbing!
The race will be in stages, each of the stage covering one of the four islands - Krk, Rab, Cres and Losinj!
The stage that will take place on Rab is 76 km long and its the fastest stage of the race!
We welcome you all to visit Rab on the 20th of April for a truly unique experience!
