My spot today is the beautiful city of Cordoba, located in southern Spain. As a reporter who's traveled all over the world, I've seen my fair share of stunning cathedrals, but the Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba is truly one of a kind.

This historic site dates back to the 8th century, and has been a mosque, a cathedral, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its unique blend of Islamic and Christian architecture is simply breathtaking, with intricate arches, columns, and mosaics that are a true testament to the craftsmanship of the artisans who built it.

Inside, the cathedral is just as impressive, with soaring ceilings, ornate chapels, and a beautiful altar that's bathed in natural light. It's no wonder that this site has drawn visitors from all over the world for centuries.

If you're ever in southern Spain, make sure to add Cordoba to your list of must-see destinations. The Mezquita-Catedral de Cordoba is truly a wonder of the world.

So nannte der Preußenkönig Friedrich II., besser bekannt als Alter Fritz, das Schloss in der einstigen preußischen Residenzstadt Potsdam. 🌷 Mit dem Einzug haltenden Frühling erwachen auch die Parks, Gärten und Schlösser der brandenburgischen Landeshauptstadt aus dem Winterschlaf und laden zum Besuchen, Flanieren und Verweilen ein.
