Where can I get the best view of Porto? For us, it was the view from Jardim do Morro and from the Bridge Ponte Dom Luis I.

Get there with Uber, Metro and by foot. But we highly recommend crossing the bridge by foot at least once.

Halbzeit mit meinen Schienen von [ad/anzeige] und das erste mal auf Reisen damit. Unser Fokus während dieses City Trips lag bei gutem Essen und Wein. Ich hatte etwas Angst, wie das denn mit den Schienen läuft. Schiene raus, Schiene rein, Schiene raus, … Aber, es lief super. Ich hatte keinerlei Einschränkungen und das Beste daran, man sieht schon große Veränderungen! Bist du mit deinen Zähnen zufrieden oder hast du auch eine leichte Fehlstellung?

Das Lächeln. Es ist mit das Erste, was uns bei der Begegnung mit anderen Menschen auffällt. Es entscheidet mit darüber, ob wir jemanden sympathisch finden. Wenn wir mit einem Lächeln empfangen werden, sind wir dem Gegenüber viel aufgeschlossener. Ich habe mich für eine mehrwöchige Reise mit (ad/anzeige) entschieden, um Schiefstellungen im Kiefer mit Schienen zu korrigieren und so befreiter lächeln zu können. Habt ihr bereits Erfahrungen mit diesen Schienen oder spielt ihr mit dem Gedanken euch welche anfertigen zu lassen?

Hintersteiner See • Austria 🇦🇹
Two years ago, Dominik and I already visited the Hintersteiner See. Now we are back as a small family of three. Today, Emma is three month old and she went on her first journey abroad. Ok, it’s just a 2 1/2 hour ride from our home, but everybody has to start small 😉. Here’s a few facts about the trail around the lake:
🚗 parking is 4€/day
🏊🏼 there’s an area for swimming and sun bathing
🚶🏼‍♀️ roundtrip takes about 1,5 hours
👶🏼 not recommendable for strollers
🍻 there’s two „restaurants“ at the lake

Lake Garda • Italy 🇮🇹
I know this lake, since I was a child. You can find several villages along the lake, smaller and bigger ones for every kind of holiday type. Every village does have its own flair and advantages. You can find a lot of bikers, hikers and wind sailors almost the whole year round. But you can also just relax and enjoy. For us, enjoying our babymoon there, was just: La dolce vita.

By coincidence we found out, that the Reschensee is only 20 minutes away from our hotel. The Reschensee is an reservoir lake, which was built in 1950. At the moment, there’s almost no water in the lake, because of maintenance. But why is the church steeple in the water so famous? There was a small village located in this area, called Altgraun. When the reservoir lake was built, the village and its residents had to disappear and leave. Only the steeple was left. Have you ever heard about this story?

One of the most beautiful natural lakes in Bavaria is Hintersee. You can walk around it, even with kids. The walk takes about 1 to 1.5 hours (depending on your photo and relaxing stops).

Akamas national forest parc • Cyprus 🇨🇾

Imagine taking a walk or going hiking along this beautiful coast way!
As we had bad weather this day, we decided to take the easy walk to Blue Lagoon. From the parking at Aphrodite bathes it’s about 5 km and 1-1.5 hours one way. Most of the time it’s flat and you can use sneakers during dry conditions.
That has been one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen on Cyprus.

When staying near Paphos you definitely have to visit the tombs of the kings. The entrance fee is 2,50€. It’s been designated a UNESCO world heritage. The tombs were actually not used to bury kings, but rich people back in the days. Especially Tomb 3 is really impressive.

Do you know, that the island of Cyprus is seperated in two parts (north = Turkish, south = Greek), even the capital city Nicosia is seperated with a border wall.

How do you prefer to spend your pre Christmas time? 🎅🏼 We got the chance to stay at .alpendorf (ad/anzeige), where we got the first glimpse of snow ❄️. We‘re decorating our apartment and the Christmas tree 🎄, baking Christmas cookies and visiting Christmas markets. It’s definitely one of my favorite seasons of the year.

We quickly agreed on where our honeymoon should go. Either a camping trip to Western Australia or Safari in Africa. At the time we were planning and booking the trip, we weren’t sure, if Western Australia is actually opening their boarders (because of Covid) for non Australians, we went for Safari in Africa plus beach holiday. And we’re very happy with our decision.

Lake Nakuru National Park • Kenya 🇰🇪

The transfer day from Amboseli to Nakuru was quite exhausting. 8 hours later we arrived in paradise. Why we call it paradise? Look at our pictures. It’s not that easy to spot wildcats, because they can hide really well in the forest. But it’s just a small area, full of wild animals and stunning landscape. Definitely one of our favourite national parks for safari.

What kind of honeymoon do you prefer? Adventure, relaxing or a mix of both? We decided for both. So we started with a 9-day safari in Kenya with . Our first destination: The Amboseli National Park, which is situated about 5 hours east from Nairobi. The park is known for the Mount Kilimanjaro view on cloudless days. 🗻 Ten minutes after entering the park, we had experienced our first highlight. A big group of elephants came out of the swamp and crossed the road right behind us. Some cute baby elephants were part of this family. 🐘
