We produce brass instruments and we are convinced that quality is a value that outlives our time and never diminishes. The key to the quality of a musical instrument are the people that make these instruments. Their experience and handcraft skills have an influence on each individual instrument that leaves our production facilities in Waldkraiburg. In order to be able to secure this quality for ge

nerations of musicians to come, Miraphone accepts a number of apprentices each year. This procedure makes sure that the knowledge and tradition, which once came from Graslitz to Waldkraiburg, can be passed on from generation to generation. Not one of our instruments leaves Miraphone’s production facilities if we are not wholly convinced of its flawless quality. With this credo Miraphone has considerably contributed to the world of bands and orchestras since its foundation in 1946. And we are also willing to actively do our best for the future of wind music. Whoever considers his own work "art”, is captured by it throughout

Both amateur and professional musicians have an intimate relationship with their instrument. It means more to them than just a daily tool. And this is true for the co-workers at Miraphone, too: almost every employee plays a brass instrument and shares in the enthusiasm for wind music. Furthermore, Miraphone intensifies its close cooperation with renowned artists worldwide to successfully continue the achieved results of research and design efforts. That way we are able to create musical instruments made by music lovers for music lovers.

🎶 Dieses Wochenende (22.-23.03.2025) fanden die 6. Mühlviertler Tubatage statt! 🎺✨

Ein besonderes Highlight war der Tuba-Workshop mit Albert Wieder, der sein Wissen und seine Leidenschaft für die Tuba mit den Teilnehmern teilte. 🎼🔥

Miraphone war gemeinsam mit der Firma Danner vor Ort und hat das Event mit einer großen Instrumentenausstellung begleitet. 🎷🎶 Natürlich war auch die Miraphone F-Tuba Elektra 481 dabei – das Instrument, das Albert Wieder selbst spielt! 🙌

Danke an alle, die dabei waren und dieses Event zu einem großartigen Erlebnis gemacht haben! 🎉

🎶 Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Maxence Nicolats, tubist with Musique des Forces aériennes de Bordeaux , to Miraphone! 🇫🇷✨ He visited us to have an adjustment made to his F tuba Petruschka - . In the meantime, he took the opportunity to try out our F and BBb tubas – and his favorite was the BBb tuba Hagen 496! 🎺🔥

🎉 Today, we celebrate a very special anniversary: 30 years of the Miraphone Tuba Quartet! 🥳🎶

It all began at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt – from the encounter between four young musicians and Miraphone, not only an extraordinary quartet was formed, but also a long-standing, trusting collaboration and friendship with Miraphone.

The four outstanding tuba players Philippe Wendling, Patrick Couttet, Philippe Gallet, and Olivier Galmant awakened the tuba from its slumber and brought it the recognition it truly deserves. Their dedication and musical excellence paved the way for the tuba to be named **Instrument of the Year in 2024**.

We sincerely thank you for 30 years of music, inspiration, and friendship. Here’s to many more years to come! 🥂🎵

Today, the Miraphone Tuba Quartet celebrates its 30th birthday! 🎉 The entire Miraphone team sends heartfelt congratulations with this special musical tribute from Zach Collins and Jeremy Lewis. Together with our CEO, Christian Niedermaier, directly from TMEA 2025 in Texas. It's been 30 years since it all began! We first met at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, which led to the formation of the quartet and a lasting friendship with Miraphone. @🥳🎶
