Kunden kommen aus dem englisch- und deutschsprachigen Raum, wir haben ein internationales Team mit Mitarbeitern/innen in Australien, Südafrika und Deutschland.

Wir suchen erfahrene deutschsprachige Safari-Reiseberater/innen mit Wohnsitz in Südafrika, um uns bei Safari-Anfragen und im Vertrieb von Reisen an unsere deutschsprachige Kundschaft zu unterstützen.

Neben der Vertriebstätigkeit wird deine Aufgabe auch darin bestehen, maßgeschneiderte Safariprogramme zu erstellen und sie mit allen notwendigen Details in die Realität umzusetzen.

- Du wirst ein wichtiger Teil eines kleinen, dynamischen Teams sein - Du hast eine aufgeschlossene Persönlichkeit und kannst gut mit Menschen umgehen
- Du verfügst über SEHR gute Kenntnisse über “Safari-Afrika” und hast mindestens 3-4 Jahre Erfahrung im Reisegeschäft als Safari-Verkaufsberater gesammelt.
- Du bist in der Lage, unter Druck zu arbeiten, Ziele und Verkaufsvorgaben zu erreichen.
- Du bist ein Allrounder und kannst selbständig arbeiten
- Strukturiertes Arbeiten, Organisationstalent, Ehrlichkeit und Liebe zum Detail sind unabdingbar, denn unser Ziel ist ein branchenführender Service!
- Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse sind unerlässlich, WordPress-Erfahrung von Vorteil.
- Qualifikationen im Reisebereich sind von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
- Muttersprache muss Deutsch sein und du solltest auch Englisch beherrschen.
- Gute schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Wir bieten eine über dem Marktdurchschnitt liegende Vergütung, die sich aus festen und provisionsbasierten Bestandteilen zusammensetzt. Du wirst vom Home Office aus arbeiten.

Der/die erfolgreiche Bewerber/in sollte spätestens am 1. Juli 2024 anfangen können.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but:

If you think a safari is a crowded experience with fifty vehicles in a predator sighting, please know that there is a different way. There are plenty of alternatives to the famous destinations, all across the continent.

Just to name a few:

🐘 If it’s the wide open spaces like those of the Serengeti you’re seeking, consider for example Liuwa Plain in Zambia instead (where this photo was taken). By choosing a lesser-known park, your visit makes a huge difference and can literally safeguard the future for animals and people living there.

🐘 If you have always wanted to see the Serengeti or the Masai Mara, you can opt for a low season safari in instead (you’d be saving some money, too!) Predators don’t migrate, so all the big cats will still be there but the crowds won’t be!

🐘 If you‘re dying to see leopards and lions, the private nature reserves of Klaserie and Timbavati in South Africs are a safe bet. (these reserves are part of the Greater Kruger National Park without any fences, but without the potential crowds of Kruger National park itself)

🐘 If its elephants you’re after, the Okavango Deta in Botswana will blow your mind. (We recommend a mobile safari - just talk to us, we got you covered!)

🐘 And lastly, a piece of advice: If you find yourself in a crowded sighting where you feel the animal is under too much pressure - just ask your guide to leave. Trust us: he or she will respect that — they just want to make sure you as the guest have a great time. Enjoy the wilderness instead and let your guide shine by tracking and finding his or her “own animal sightings”. And even if you don’t end up seeing the “big hairy scaries” that day, a safari is about so much more, and you will always see something exciting out there.

Safaris are a fantastic way to reconnect with nature, to learn from the locals and the animals, and make sure their habitats are preserved. Let’s be good guests in that world they allow us in 🙏🏼

Massive news from the legends at African Parks!

Breaking News: African Parks has just announced plans to rewild 2,000 southern white rhino over the next decade. African Parks has purchased Platinum Rhino, the world’s largest captive rhino breeding operation which holds up to 15% of the total remaining wild population of southern white rhino, with one clear intent: to rewild them to safe and well-managed protected areas across Africa.

We will be working with governments and NGOs across the continent to translocate these rhino and make this vision a reality. We recognize the unique position we are in to provide a meaningful conservation solution and ensure these rhino become a real asset in the long-term protection of the species and wild ecosystems.

In these months of the year it’s worth taking the time to check each Sausage Tree. Their dense green canopy makes for the perfect shade and cover for these beauties to spend the day.

From a distance you might just be able to see a tail dangling down below the browse line

Botswana delivers yet again!

Our recent safari was filled with incredible sightings and experiences! Some even a little unexpected…

We had: 3 very chilled out leopards, painted wolves (wild dogs) almost daily?!, male lion scavenging on an elephant carcass, pride of lions with a buffalo kill, 5 lions casually walking through camp as we sat by the fire, countless elephants (also on foot!) and many other highlights such as otters, eland, roan antelope, sable, water mongoose to name a few.

But best of all was the people, the laughter and the good spirits! Thanks to Stefan, Kate, Veronika and Christian for coming on safari and to Okwa and his team for keeping us safe and well looked after.
