The HACWays goal is to provide the best service to Danish Americans travelling in Denmark. We want to help Danish American tourists before, during and after their vacation in Denmark and Scandinavia. As a first-time tourist in Denmark, you often choose to visit traditional sights, but if you want to experience a closer view of Danish culture and the Danish way of life, HACWays can meet your specia
l wishes. Helene Amter Christensen, the founder of HACWays, has experienced through good friends and former colleagues that there is a need to help Danish Americans in planning the vacation in Denmark. This may involve accommodation, sightseeing, visiting distant relatives and last, but not least, helping Danish Americans experience the Danish culture - for instance, through company visits. If tourists have special wishes HACWays will do the utmost to fulfill them. Helene Amter Christensen's connection to Danish Americans is grounded in having been a student at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, and also an intern at the Danish Immigrant Museum in Elk Horn, Iowa. Amter Christensen received a Masters' Degree in Tourism from Aalborg University. Since her graduation Amter Christensen has been involved in a numbers of projects, among other as an entrepreneur in offering cross-country horseback rides in the northern part of Denmark.
